Scottish Highland Cattle Flock To Accordion Music
Music is found in every known culture since the beginning of time, and it has always served as a way to connect people, to themselves and sometimes to their past and their memories.
People love music, and it makes them feel right; it makes them feel happy. It is known that music connects people and it makes them better people. However, humans are not the only ones who love to listen to music. Animals love hearing music too. Want proof? Take a look at this incredible video.
Watch a herd of Scottish Highland Cattle listen to "Highland Cathedral", a Scottish anthem. They come running just as the music swells! The cow numbered 20 is the one who loves it the most!
They got mesmerized by the music of the accordion. As the music was going on, they got closer and closer to listen to it, and by the looks of the video they really liked it, and they enjoy it. This was probably the most fantastic evening for them, thanks to this amazing man who took the time to play an excellent song to them.
Music is found in every known culture since the beginning of time, it has always served as a way to connect people, to themselves, and sometimes, it seems as though music can even connect you to animals. This video will truly warm your heart and possibly change your perspective on cows!
They have great taste in music, and we are absolutely impressed by this video and the talent that this man has. Cows are smart, emotional and can form a great friendship with a human. They are kind of underrated as pets for some people, and we hope by seeing this video will change their minds about them.
We know that we have some skeptical people out there who are probably still wondering how cows can love and listen to music, so we decided to show you another video of cows reacting to music and enjoying it!
These curious cows react to live violin performance and they absolutely enjoy the music.
Have you ever heard of the band with the cows enjoy music and the group of teens that play the violin? Well get ready and watch the clip because they have a pretty rad sound. A girl plays the violin out on the farm, and these cows can’t help but listen to the beautiful sounds. Amazing!

Cows Listen To Accordion Music, Happily Jingling Their Bells
A herd of cows rush over to hear accordion music played by Don Bitterlich in Garmisch, Germany. You can clearly see how much they truly enjoy the music and they are not the only ones. Have you ever seen the clip where a jazz bands plays for another herd of bovines? How about the one where a farmer plays Lorde's “Royals” on his trombone?
So what is it that draws these cows to music? The answer to this question is actually pretty simple – music helps them relax, just like it would any other animal (yes, humans included). Today's dairy farms are noisy and busy places, what with all the clanking of cow bells and the swooshing sound of the automated milkers. All that racket can stress a cow out and a stressed cow is not a productive cow.
Dairy farmers had to become the experts on how to comfort their cows, so they would do anything from air conditioning the barns, to making them as pleasant to live in for their milk producing bovines. And this is not even a new thing. Back in 2001, psychologists from the University of Leichester in England showed that cows liked slow music so much, that it increased the production of milk by 3%.
Animals can be fond of many different sounds and noises, so much so that they could even get attracted to them. That is exactly the case in this video as a herd of cows comes over to hear accordion music played by this man in Garmisch, Germany. It's so crazy how they truly enjoy the music he plays!
So there you have it. If your cows are a little stingy on the milk, just play them something soothing. Like R.E.M. or Simon & Garfunkel.

Herd Of Grazing Cows Rush To Listen To Accordion Music
Most of us have heard of the famous children's story about the Pied Piper. In this German folklore, there was a Pied Piper who helps lead the rats out of Hamelin, Germany with his magic flute. This story was thought to be only that, a story, but it seems that it may have some merit. Animals can be fond of many different sounds and noises, so much so that they could even get attracted to them. That is exactly the case in this video as a herd of cows come over to hear accordion music played by this man in Garmisch, Germany. It's so crazy how they truly enjoy the music!
Who would have thought that something like this could actually happen! Looks like that old story about the Piper could have had some facts in it after all. This man is a modern day Pied Piper, albeit he is playing the accordion and is attracting cows, not rats. Nonetheless, this makes for one entertaining and interesting video. The cows are grazing carelessly on the huge, beautiful and green pasture. The wind is friendly blowing like it wants to whistle a secret to the cows. There are many of them, a big herd of peaceful cows minding their own business on the pasture. All of a sudden, their peace and quiet is beautifully interrupted by a man who appears to play an accordion. He was passing by the pasture when he stopped in order to say hi to these cows.
His greeting is the most interesting one, since the cows are really captivated by the sound of his music. Music is a medicine for the soul, it gives us energy and power and it makes our rainy days easier to get through. Whether that is true for people, who would have said that it is true for cows? As the video shows, the man stands next to the pasture fence, playing a mellow song, attracting the cows from the distance that can be seen standing fixedly wondering where on Earth is the music coming from. When they notice the man, they hurry to say hello and their delight at hearing the music can’t go unnoticed. All of a sudden, they leave the grazing and just like pupils in front of their headmaster, they line up enjoying the sound of the accordion. What an unusual sight to witness!
They hop and run like happy little bunnies, shaking the bells around their necks, adding to the melody. The man is obviously satisfied because he fulfilled his mission to entertain the cows. Even he himself couldn’t expect such an outturn! While the cows are taking pleasure in this live performance for free, we can hear the lady behind the camera giggling delightfully. She is not alone, we grinned from ear to ear, too while watching the video!
