This episode I am making a garden shovel for the wife. She was complaining how cheap (quality not price) and ineffective the store-bought tools are. I hope this one does her a good job.

I had a very nice handle that wasn't working with the ax I had on it. I decided to forge my first ever hammer, a ball peen. The hammer is weighing in just under 1 and 1/2 lbs. handle has a leather wrapped handle.
