Lauren Boebert, Congresswoman from Colorado, joins Liberty & Justice Season 2, episode 8
Lauren Boebert, Congresswoman from Colorado, joins Liberty & Justice Season 2, episode 8. Watch every episode of Liberty & Justice at http://www.whitaker.tv.
Lauren became the first mom to represent Colorado’s Third District in Congress after unseating a five-term incumbent Congressman and then, despite being outspent nearly 2-1, defeated her Democrat opponent on November 3rd, 2020. Lauren’s historic victory showed that no amount of money can beat good, old-fashioned grassroots enthusiasm and hard work.
Lauren was the founder and former operator of Shooters Grill, a restaurant that earned national notoriety for staff that proudly open carry as they serve their customers. She gained additional recognition in September 2019 by attending presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke’s rally to tell him directly: “Hell, no, you won’t take our guns.”
When Colorado’s liberal Democrat Governor tried to shut down small businesses across the state, it was Lauren who stood against tyranny and kept her business open. They operated safely and took every precaution to keep her staff and her patrons healthy. Because of this, Lauren’s staff was able to continue making their hard-earned money and weren’t sent to the unemployment line. Lauren will ALWAYS fight for small businesses.
A Coloradoan living on the Western Slope, Lauren is active in her church and has spent years counseling at-risk women at the local jail, encouraging them to become self-sufficient and productive members of society who do not depend on government assistance.
Lauren’s husband, Jayson, has worked his entire adult life in oil and gas fields, primarily in Western Colorado. They are the proud parents of four boys.

Wrigley and his wife Kathleen married in 1998 and moved home to North Dakota. In 2001, Wrigley was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the United States Senate as North Dakota’s 17th United States Attorney. Wrigley led his office’s successful efforts to combat violent crime, large-scale narcotics trafficking, illegal immigration, financial fraud and ground-breaking investigations focused on Internet crimes against children. Under Wrigley’s leadership, the office’s Civil Division worked diligently to promote and protect legal and contractual interests of the United States, while battling to ensure the protection of civil rights and the promise of landmark legal protections such as the Americans with Disabilities Act. Even while serving as United States Attorney, Wrigley personally tried several noteworthy cases, including North Dakota’s first federal Internet child-luring case, and the successful death penalty prosecution of Alfonso Rodriguez, Jr., who kidnapped, assaulted, and viciously murdered University of North Dakota student Dru Sjodin. That was North Dakota’s first and only federal death penalty case, for which Wrigley served as lead trial and appellate counsel. From 2004 to 2009, Wrigley was appointed by three successive Attorney Generals of the United States to serve on the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee, a select group of United States Attorneys tasked with advising the Attorney General of the United States and other Department of Justice leaders.
After stepping down as United States Attorney in 2009, Wrigley served as vice-president of a national Medicare and Medicaid contractor based in Fargo. He subsequently served as North Dakota’s 37th Lieutenant Governor, from December 2010 through December 2016. Wrigley served as the President of the State Senate, chaired the State Investment Board and its oversight of then-$11 billion in pension and other state assets, chaired the state’s International Trade Office Board, chaired the Governor’s Cybersecurity Task Force, and led the economic development efforts and oversight authority for North Dakota’s FAA-sanctioned unmanned flight systems testing facility. In 2016, Wrigley and Governor Jack Dalrymple chose to not seek re-election, and in early 2017 Wrigley once again returned to the private sector, serving in a senior advisory role for a regional healthcare, insurance, research and philanthropy enterprise, Sanford Health. In 2019, Wrigley was nominated by President Donald J. Trump and confirmed by the United States Senate as North Dakota’s 19th United States Attorney, becoming the first North Dakotan to twice serve as our state’s chief federal law enforcement officer. Wrigley stepped down in February of 2021 and worked as counsel with his family’s industrial/mechanical/commercial contracting firms, Wrigley Mechanical, Inc. and BDT Mechanical LLC, both located in Fargo. Wrigley maintains an ownership interest in both companies.
Drew and Kathleen Wrigley live in Bismarck and have three children, Quinn (college junior), Patrick (college freshman), and Harper (middle school student.) Kathleen is a school guidance counselor at Shiloh Christian School, in Bismarck. The Wrigley family attends Grace Point Church in Bismarck and Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo. The Wrigley’s have served on a variety of charitable boards and committees across the years.

Ric Grenell is not your typical Republican.
He is seen by many as the embodiment of the American First agenda through his bold approach as one of the nation’s top diplomats and during his transformative service as the Acting Director of National Intelligence.
Born in Michigan, Grenell went to Elementary school in Redwood City, California, and high school in Jenison, Michigan. He describes himself as an “imperfect follower of Christ,” who was driven into public service through his faith. He has worked for decades to advance conservative policies and candidates as a principled and consistent voice for the American people.
Prior to becoming the longest serving U.S. political appointee at the United Nations, Ric served as a top advisor to San Diego Mayor Susan Golding. He has since gone on to become one of the most impactful diplomats in American history. As the U.S. Ambassador to Germany, Ric advanced President Trump’s America First policies, facing down international foes like Iran and Hezbollah. Ric’s effectiveness earned him the ire of some in the international political establishment and among European leftists, which he relished.
It was also during this period that Ambassador Grenell was appointed by President Trump to spearhead the Administration’s effort to decriminalize homosexuality across the globe.
Ric was the Special Presidential Envoy for Serbia and Kosovo Peace Negotiations, where he was able to broker an historic Economic Normalization deal. His role in the effort earned him the Presidential Medal of Merits from Kosovo President Thaçi. At the request of President Trump in 2020, Ric served as the acting Director of National Intelligence. This appointment meant Ric became the first Senate-confirmed Cabinet member who was openly gay – a reality the media has tried to ignore.
Grenell received a master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and his Bachelor’s Degree in Government and Public Administration from Evangel College. He currently serves as a Senior fellow at Carnegie Mellon University’s Institute for Politics and Strategy
Ric resides in Southern California with his partner, Matt, and their dog, Lola.

Trump’s Department of Defense (DOD), where his responsibilities included implementing the Secretary’s mission using our 3 million plus employees, operating a $740 billion budget, and $2 trillion in assets. Mr. Patel joined HPSCI following his tenure as a national security prosecutor at the Department of Justice (DOJ) under the Obama administration, where he led investigations spanning multiple theaters of conflict and oversaw the successful prosecution of criminals aligned with Al-Qa’ida, ISIS, and other terror groups. Congressman Byron Donalds is a conservative leader who will bring the fight to the swamp creatures in Washington, DC. He's everything the fake news media says doesn't exist: a Trump-supporting, liberty-loving, pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment black man. That's what we need to drain the swamp.
Byron Donalds is a conservative champion for Southwest Florida. He has a proven record of banning sanctuary cities, fighting for taxpayers, and defending our constitutional rights. Raised by a single mom, Byron Donalds learned that anyone can achieve the American Dream with hard work. Byron has worked in the finance, insurance and banking industries in Southwest Florida. He worked as a partner in a local financial firm. While serving as a state legislator, Byron fought to clean our water, protect our seniors, expand school choice, and enact criminal justice reform. Byron Donalds lives in Naples, Florida with his wife Erika and their three sons.
