Gardening is a simple way to give them that sensory experience, teach them responsibility and build their self esteem. Any preschooler can benefit from Gardening. This is also essential for special needs. My daughter has Down Syndrome, everyday I try to slow down and take in the simple things in life, guide her through simple tasks that she struggles to build. Working through the difficulties and making great strides to overcoming her challenges. Gardening is a simple thing we do together as a family (siblings included). We work on skills that she needs and has been tasked by her Occupational Therapist.
