Black People Matter Protests at Western Illinois University *RAW*
***WARNING...CONTAINS SOME FOUL LANGUAGE*** A large fight broke out following a Black Student Association meeting around 11p.m at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois on Friday night. Office of PubLic Safety, Macomb Police, and Illinois State police responded. Police used pepper spray to break up the crowd that refused to disperse. Nicholas Stewart of Live Storms Media was on the scene during the tense period.

Massive Oregon Coastal Storm
Oregon was battered and beaten today by the most powerful coastal storm to hit the region in over 10 years. Wind gusts over hurricane force caused numerous power outages. Large swells over 25 feet caused some homes to be knocked off of coastal cliffs and into the water. Sea spray launched upwards of 40 feet sprayed pedestrians looking off of the cliff here in the Newport area. California High Elevation Snow
The major storm system on the west coast is bringing heavy amounts of mountain snow to the interior of California. Already 8 inches of snow has fallen on Mount Shasta. The ski goers are loving the powder. Not much has fallen so far this winter, but upwards of 2-3 feet are expected tonight through tomorrow. Video provided by David Plank of Live Storms Media.

David Plank of Live Storms Media shows just how elevation is affecting areas in California with a large storm system moving on shore. Down in the valleys near Mount Shasta, rain and flooding are causing many issues. Over 5 inches of rain has fell in the last 24 hours in the region. Above 6,000 feet, 8 inches of snow has fallen on Mount Shasta with more expected tonight.

Indian River Bay is overflowing onto the highway up and down the coast. Water was about 6 inches deep in some areas stretching from Dewey Beach to Fenwick Island.

Plane crashes into home in Maryland
A private executive plane crashed into a Gaithersburg, Maryland home at approximately 10:45 a.m. on December 8th, 2014, killing all three people aboard the aircraft and a mother and two children inside the house. The Embraer EMB-500/Phenom 100 twin-engine jet was on approach to Montgomery County Airpark, which is just under a mile from the site. Mark Ellinwood captured footage of the scene.

Missouri Black Ice causes Wrecks

Lackawanna, New York Historic Snow!
Historic amounts of snowfall continue to come down across New York. This is the common scene in Lackawanna just south of Buffalo. The National Weather Service officially has 70 inches of snow in the forecast! Cars are stranded...people are walking...and roads are closed. These vehicles will be stranded for days. Fairbank, Iowa November Ground Blizzard
Snow already on the ground accompanied by more snow on today, November 17th, made for very low visibility as winds kicked up. Gusts over 40 mph made for blizzard conditions at times with all of the powder that was laid down. Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum Burns to GROUND!
A 2 Alarm Fire at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum. Started around 6pm. One confirmed injury. Buildings destroyed includes a large barn that housed animals and surrounding structures along with many large trees. No animals were harmed. They were released before the fire grew. Jackson Fire Department along with Jackson Police Department were on scene. Due to the remote location it was hard to get water back to the location of the fire. Wind also played a part in spreading the fire with strong wind gusts. Live Storms Media stringer, Vincent Webb, captured this up close and personal.

11-13-14 Little Rock Snow & Accidents
Icy/Snowy overpasses likely caused this accident on the southbound of Hwy 67/167 in Sherwood, Arkansas. One fatality has been confirmed along with around 9 vehicles involved. The Sherwood fire chief also confirms ice on the overpass. The southbound lanes of the highway were completely closed for a while but now one lane is open as they continue to clear up the roadway. Several other weather related accidents have been reported around Central Arkansas. Many people say they were caught off guard since there was no snow in the forecast.
