Stubborn husky refuses to eat, tries to bury his food
Zeus the Stubborn Husky has been diagnosed with a large liver tumor which may be inoperable. We hope to get good news during surgery which is tentatively schedule for Friday September 11th, 2020. Zeus had lost some weight which prompted a vet visit, and ultimately the discovery of the tumor. His appetite has lessened (despite being on medication) due to the tumor pushing on his stomach. His meals have been cubed steak and grilled chicken, some of his favorites. Despite these yummy offerings, he's struggled to eat all his meals and snacks. It has taken some coaxing and tricking to get him to eat (including peer pressure from Kaden!). Follow Zeus on his journey, which we hope will be for many more years yet.

Stubborn husky refuses to eat food with pill in it
Zeus was recently diagnosed with a large and growing (hopefully benign) tumor on his liver. He goes in two days for a consult and they will hopefully be able to do surgery the same day and remove it (paws crossed). Zeus had been losing some weight as a result of the tumor. He was given orders to try to eat more to put the weight back on and given liver medication and an appetite stimulant (which doesn't seem to have an effect on him). I tried to sneak some of his pills in his FreshPet but he refused and was super stubborn about it until the pill was removed. He then ate it.
Follow Zeus as he battles this liver tumor and keep all paws crossed for a healthy outcome!

Stubborn Husky Receives Bad News, Proceeds To Throws Tantrum
Zeus was losing weight and he went to the vet at the end of August 2020. He had an ultrasound today which discovered a large tumor (likely non-cancerous, but large and serious) on his liver, and pushing on his stomach. He will have a surgical consult Tuesday 9/8/20 followed by surgery (hopefully) that same day. Zeus came home from the vet today and seemed to be sulking (he had his belly shaved). Of course he was being dramatic and acted like he didn't want to go for a car ride. He eventually popped up and went. Fortunately his energy level and mischievous antics are still present despite these medical concerns. And his protesting and stubborn nature are still in full stride!

Zeus the stubborn husky was recently introduced to his new baby brother, but by the looks of it, he's starting to feel a bit jealous over all of the attention the baby is getting. It was discovered that he chewed up the babies monitoring saw! Completely destroying it! The evidence left behind included a tuft of his fur on the Velcro part!
Don't let Zeus fool you, he still gets to go out for walks and runs, car rides, and snuggles in the bed with his family. Although having a baby is a big life change, he has been able to continue to enjoy his creature comforts!

Watch This Very Stubborn Husky Demand A Water Bowl Refill
Do you know what happens when an intelligent dog needs to drink water and its bowl is completely empty? Watch how this adorable Husky requires his owners to recharge his bowl of water! Drinking water is very important for dogs' health, as this allows them to be well hydrated so they can run and play as much as they want. This Husky dog named Zeus is very intelligent and knows that he needs to drink water to be able to hydrate, so he starts barking and howling so that his owners know that his bowl of water is empty and needs a refill. Obviously, Zeus knows the importance of drinking water, since it does not calm down until its owner refills the container with water and puts it in its place. Zeus is a very stubborn and demanding dog, he knows that he must inform his owners when his plate of food or water is empty. Zeus knows how to demand his rights!
Your pet's hydration is just as important as yours. Thus, it is essential to control the liquid that our best friend drinks to avoid problems such as heat stroke or constipation. The amount of water that each pet ingests depends on the food they eat and the weight of the animal. You should know that the hydration of pets is essential for their body to function properly. For this, there is a huge variety of water dispensers for dogs on the market, which guarantee the hydration of your pet and, in addition, in the most optimal conditions.
Can dogs drink any type of water? There are many opinions around this issue, about whether pets can drink any type of water. Some people say that pets should drink the same water their owners drink, bottled or filtered. This is because tap water has a high mineral, chlorine and bacterial content, which can cause damage. However, there are also those who think about this issue differently. The stomachs of dogs turn out to be much more resistant than those of humans. Therefore, they can eat grass, lick their legs and smell each other.
The reality is that dogs also tend to leave water in their drinking fountain and only drink it when they are thirsty. This allows the water to dissipate some chemicals and the minerals to settle at the bottom, so it is really unnecessary for the water to be filtered.
Much more important than the type of water that the pet ingests is to put the water in containers that are clean. It is essential that the water is in sanitized containers, and not where there are food remains. With the arrival of high temperatures, it is very important that the water, in addition to clean, is fresh. The place chosen for the animal's drinking fountain must be in a cool place in the house. You can also add some ice in the hottest hours of the day. A well-hydrated dog is a happy dog!
As usual, Zeus is not shy about telling us what he wants. After several cries and howls, it was discovered that he drank all the water in the bowl and needed a refill. As his demands are being met, he's not shy about expressing his dissatisfaction with his parents.

Stubborn Husky Doesn’t Make Nice List For Christmas
Do you think dogs deserve Christmas gifts like children? Many people say that their pets are part of their family, especially when it comes to dogs and cats, so they consider it important to share with their pets at all important times of the year. The truth is that dogs are pets capable of appreciating the gifts that their owners give them, although there are always some stubborn and poorly educated dogs, as is the case with this Husky, who immediately destroys the bone of Santa that his owners gave him. One of the dogs in the video is more polite than the other, and this enrages one of the dogs since he considers that his friend should not have destroyed Santa's bone since it was a Christmas gift. These dogs have totally different personalities!
Whether or not dogs can be given bones is a debate that seems to have no response. Some say that these are good for your dental health and that you also love them. They believe that the nutrients found in the bone marrow are very beneficial for dogs' health. However, on the other hand, there are those who claim that a bone will kill your pet. What is the reality? Is it possible or not? And if so, what bones can your dogs eat?
Many people now have doubts about whether it is good or bad for their dogs to eat bones, and some experts in the field debate this issue. However, advocates that dogs eat bones rely on the ancestors of dogs to base their theory. They claim that if dogs descend from wolves and they eat bones, why can't they do it? It is known that wolves eat their prey completely, even the skin in some cases. Bones are dessert, perhaps because they are delicious, so based on this theory, dogs can be given bones.
What should be clear is that dogs love to eat bones and this is the only "theory" on which many pet owners are based. If you are one of them and have decided that you want to give this gift to your dog, it is important that you know the answer to the following question: what kind of bones can owners give their dogs? Experts say the best bones for a dog to eat are duck neck bones, beef bones, chicken bones, and lamb bones. Since these bones do not usually present any threat against dogs, and besides that they are very good for your health. There are also artificial ones capable of cleaning dogs' teeth and providing them with many vitamins.
Zeus the Stubborn Husky ends up with the naughty bone from Santa and he’s very upset! Just listen!

Stubborn husky is master manipulator!
Zeus the Stubborn Husky has his hoo-mans trained pretty well. He’s also quite a character and very vocal. He was recently at the vet and is starting to get some arthritis in his back left hip. The vet said not to push him for longer than he wants to go on walks and runs. It was a new vet (shout out to Dr Mosebey) and CLEARLY he doesn’t know Zeus yet! Zeus will not move if Zeus does not want to! But he will howl and cry and demand attention and treats, which he gets frequently.
Zeus and Kaden both gave 4 paws up for ROAM’s Croc Jerky, which is what they got in this video. No we are not paid dog-spokesmen, we just like what we like and share it with other picky treat eaters out there!

Stubborn Husky "under the influence" howls in protest
Zeus recently had surgery on his eye lid (a growth removed). Word is, upon waking up from the anesthesia, he began howling. As his owner got out of her car in the parking lot, she could hear his howling. The vet called and said for her to come and pick him up because he was howling, crying and whining non-stop. Thanks to the vet's office for this video of Zeus and for taking such great care of him! Most of all, thanks for putting up with his antics!

Stubborn Husky Loudly Protests Against Annoying Cone
All people have something they fear from, or they hate, some people hate spiders, some people hate the hot weather, and some people hate spicy food. It is what it is, and we can't love everything in the world. Right?
But, when it comes to a dog, we know what they hate the most, and it's not cats or even baths. It's the cone of shame. They hate when they have to wear that thing! Also if it's for their good, they absolutely hate it.
The lampshade. The Elizabethan collar. The cone of shame. No matter how you call it, possibilities are your dog isn't going to like the thought of having to wear a cone while a wound heals. They turn into drama queens when they wear it and we have a drama queen here to prove that. Take a look at Zeus and his thoughts about wearing the cone of shame.
Zeus recently had a growth removed from his eyelid and needs to wear the "cone of shame" until his eye heals. He's not happy about having to wear the cone again after he had to wear it on and off all spring and summer due to hot spots. In complete Zeus fashion, he is negotiating and trying to look cute to gain sympathy, and removal of the cone!
Even though it seems cruel to put one on them, remember that it is a critical medical tool and they have to wear it. Leaving the E collar on consistently is the ideal approach to get your pet accustomed to it. If you feel awful for your pet and take the cone off, at that point set it back on when you leave, your pet may accept it as a discipline and may attempt to crush it.
Don't worry. Your dog can eat, drink, pee, and lay down with a cone on. Indeed, the stricter you are with the cone, the quicker they will become acclimated to it. Moreover, pets don't hold feelings of resentment, so they won't be frantic at you for being severe with the guidelines.
To be honest, who wants to have a cone around their neck all the time? We would hate it too, but we know that we will do anything for our dogs and sometimes that can be putting a cone on their head for their own good, even though they hate and you hate it too!

Stubborn Husky Lets Mom Know What He Thinks Of His New Bed
People say that, over time, dogs start to resemble their owners, both in looks and in behavior. Whether it’s the animals that start imitating their humans, or the humans start to identify themselves with their dogs, it doesn’t matter, there are hundreds of photos online where dog owners look almost exactly like their dogs!
In ancient times, dogs helped our ancestors hunt for mammoth and toothed tigers. Dog teams bare the credit naturalists, geologists and other adventure-seekers ventured into expeditions and conquest of the Arctic and Antarctic. In the world of today, many dogs live a comfortable couch life next to their beloved owners and we are grateful to them for the company and the occasional funny thing they do to make us happy. This is why, among other things, people love to show off their pets.
The little rascals are treated as stars, as cute toy creatures that give one joy, or even ugly, but ridiculously funny pets. Pets are, and this is a fact, one of the top-5 keyword searches on the Internet.
Do you think that dogs are adorable and are capable of feeling love towards their owners? See how this wolfhound shows love and friendship to its owner after being away from home. All dogs miss their owners when they leave home, but this time these two best friends are very happy to meet again after the man was absent for ten long weeks, there is no doubt that the dogs are the best friends of the man. This is very adorable!
Zeus the Stubborn Husky is stubborn about everything! He doesn't want to get out of the bath tub (in his infamous video)! He won't get out of the front seat after a trip to the store. He doesn't even want to run in the obstacle course and poops right on the course! Zeus will listen when Zeus wants to listen.
This time, he is introduced to his new bed, which will replace his old worn out bed up in the bedroom. He has a dog bed in most areas of the house because he's spoiled. After laboring over which bed to pick for him, we came home and showed him. Check out his response!
Kaden, his long haired German Shepherd brother is always appreciative of what we bring home! They are complete opposites but best friends! Go ahead and have a laugh as this Husky is just too funny!

Stubborn Husky Takes On Lure Course And Epically Fails!
Performance anxiety affects everybody differently, and this video of a dog trying to work his way through a lure course at his local Pet Expo is everything. Zeus the husky is all of us in this moment—everyone who knows the feeling of only realizing after the fact what it was you were actually supposed to be doing at that moment when everything was on the line, but you couldn’t quite get your brain to work the way it’s supposed to. Adding to the Zeus the husky’s undoubted mortification is the knowledge that his bro-fur, Kaden, completed the course first and did so with the greatest of ease.
Not so for poor Zeus! After repeatedly failing to pay even the slightest attention to the lure that was supposed to guide him through the course—preferring instead to chart his own path (if his frenetic and disorganized leaps back and forth can even be called a path)—Zeus ends of finishing his performance in a spectacular that we don’t want to spoil for you here. So we’ll just say that it’s EPIC, and definitely something you don’t want to miss! Despite their reputation as exemplary service dogs, who can pull sleds across the frozen tundra for miles and miles as part of a pack with perfect discipline, huskies are actually known as being independent minded dogs and notoriously rebellious if they feel they’re being forced into something. We’re guessing that Zeus was ultimately trying to make a point to his humans—something along the lines of, “Pet Expo’s a lot of fun, but I’m not really a ‘lure course’ kind of a dog.”
It’s an advisory his human guardians would be wise to take heed of the next time they decide to try to show Zeus off under public scrutiny. Oh well! Zeus may not have a big future ahead of him as a performance dog at Pet Expo, but we’re pretty sure that he still has many years left to enjoy as the adored and pampered canine member of a loving human family—one that hopefully understands him a little better now. You’re not just going to want to watch this video (and it’s absolutely unforgettable conclusion!). You’re going to want to bookmark it and send it along to all your dog loving friends—or basically anyone who needs a good laugh break in their day. Way to fight the power, Zeus!

Howling Dog Leads Its Owner To The Treat Drawer
Are you feeling stressed and worn out? Do you need something that can relieve you from this unwanted stress? Do you know something that can help you clear this stress away? Well, just in case you do not know, one extremely effective therapeutic thing that can make wonders in order to shake those stress away is raising an adorable pet dog. If you are thinking that it is only effective for those dog lovers out there, then think again. Even though you are not that into dogs, you will still enjoy the therapy a pet dog can give, for sure. The question is, do you know what is the best dog breed that you can have these days?
Why not consider having a Siberian Husky then? If you are not well-acquainted about this particular breed of dog, then it would be very helpful for you to watch this video. Here, you can witness a very cute stubborn Siberian Husky dog that is seemingly arguing with his owner. This dog was already given some treats from his master, but it seems that he still wants more. Wondering why the husky is acting that way, the owner lets the husky lead her to where this dog wants to go. And then suddenly, the husky has led her to the kitchen, where the treats are kept. Without hesitation, the owner gets some treats and then gives them to the husky and its adorable companion dog.
The name of this stubborn yet intelligent Siberian Husky dog is Zeus. If you want to know more about Zeus and its breed, then let us dig deeper. Siberian Husky is a medium size dog breed that you can choose to raise if you want to. Yes, some people are not choosing this one because of its medium size. Even so, this does not make Siberian Husky a less of a pet dog. It is as incredible as smaller sized pet dogs out there are. If you are not really ready for a dog this size, then consider raising a Husky and you will surely not regret it. When it comes to names, some countries may differ. In some other parts of the world, it is known as Chukcha and Chuksha. However, it is also popularly called Sibe in some other parts of the globe.
For your additional information, Siberian Husky originated from the beautiful and progressive country of Russia. In fact, it belongs to the Spitz family. Yes, you read it right! This is one reason why Husky has thick fur or hair just like the Spitz dog breed. If you are not well-acquainted about the appearance of this dog, then make an image of a wolf in your mind and there you go. This is how many people in the world describe this adorable breed of dogs. Its ears are erect, and its hair is double coated. It goes without saying that Husky is one of the most sophisticated-looking dogs one can ever have.
With a sufficient amount of time for training, this pet dog can certainly be your best pet dog ever that you can ever raise in your life.

Husky And German Shepherd Thrilled For Drive-Thru Car Ride
In ancient times, dogs helped our ancestors hunt for mammoth and toothed tigers. Dog teams bare the credit naturalists, geologists and other adventure-seekers ventured into expeditions and conquest of the Arctic and Antarctic. In the world of today, many dogs live a comfortable couch life next to their beloved owners and we are grateful to them for the company.
Among other things, people love to show off with their pets. They are treated as stars, as cute toy creatures that give one joy, or even ugly, but ridiculously funny pets. Pets are, and this is a fact, one of the top-5 keyword searches on the Internet.
However, the Internet was first conquered by cats: a lazy cat, an angry cat, a cross-eyed cat, a brave cat (Remember the hero cat who saved the little boy from a dog attack? Of course, we all do!) these were on the all-star list of Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Photos, videos, memes, gifs, whatever you could possibly imagine to sharer online was instantly gaining immense popularity! Entire audiences of admirers and subscribers started to gather and expanded. And how did our dogs leg behind in this pet-craze? They actually did not! Dogs confidently began to catch up with the mustachioed mousers. And not only catch up, they even started overshadowing their popularity. And why you might ask. It is because of amazing dog videos like this one on the top of the page. Watch! Go, go dogs!
People say that, over time, dogs start to resemble their owners, both in looks and in behavior. Whether it’s the animals that start imitating their humans, or the humans start to identify themselves with their dogs, it doesn’t matter, there are hundreds of videos online where dog owners look almost exactly like their dogs!
The owners of these two four-legged friends were in the middle of packing up the house in preparation for the moving process. But, as we all know, you always get strange food cravings just when you are at your busiest! Both the German Shepherd and Siberian Husky (their owner was not much better truth be spoken) decided they needed a Dunking run and Dunkin Munchkins! As par for the course, Zeus made even the most exciting event a little more challenging with some howling and stubborn antics! Watch as he vocalizes entire Husky sentences hastening the owner to just jump in the car and drive there! You cannot decide if he is wolfishly hungry or he is just bored with the packing and wants to get some fresh air. He is ready to start any minute and is not clear at all why his owner, instead of jumping in her shoes and picking the key from the coffee table is so focused on filming them. Didn’t they need to go and grab those sweets like right now? Adorable!
If you love dogs as much as we do, share this video on social media or tell us a story of your beloved four-legged pal in the comment section below. And remember: dogs rule!

Stubborn Husky Demands To Sit In The Front Seat Of A Car
Being a husky owner can be hard from time to time. They get stubborn, howl for no apparent reason, love to tear up the living room cushions and will absolutely defy your every try to make them go outside. In this video we witness the hilarious moment when a stubborn pooch throws dramatic temper tantrum at owner, claiming to sit in the front seat of a car! Priceless!
Zeus prefers the front seat with the AC vents on him and right next to his owner. However, today he is destined for the back seat. As usual, Kaden the German Shepherd is obediently waiting for Zeus to get himself together. Priceless!
We all love the front seat in the car. There is so much more room and you have full access to the radio! If you have the opportunity to sit in the front seat, why wouldn't you? Zeus the very stubborn husky also loves to sit in the front seat. Once he is there, no one is going to move him from his comfy spot! He feels like he called dibs on the front seat, so it's only fair if he gets to stay there. His owner doesn't approve, she tells him to move to the back, but getting him to move isn't going to happen that easily! He continues to whimper, and doesn't budge one bit, so funny!
These furry and absolutely adorable goofballs can brighten our day in just a few seconds, and it is only normal that we do the same for them. Despite their bark, they are loving souls who just want to cuddle. However, every once in a while they are entitled to a bad day too, and it's of utmost importance that we give them some credit.
Huskies are very affectionate with their families and are always up for family bonding time! They love to spend time with you and always seem to make your day a little brighter! Even when they're being stubborn like this dog Zeus, they still love you so much! They're just so comfortable with you, awesome! They have a very high energy level so it is very unlikely you'll ever be bored with these dogs around!
Huskies are an absolutely gorgeous type of dog, and are probably the closest to their wolf ancestors in terms of appearance. The term "husky" actually refers to a few different breeds of dogs used for sled pulling and includes breeds like the Alaskan malamute and the American Akita among others. They are highly intelligent, energetic, active, and strong-willed dogs.
Unlike some other types of dogs, huskies have a comparatively lower drive to please their masters. They can be pretty independent, and when getting them to do something against their wills can be challenging. In fact, owners being unable to manage a husky's big personality is one of the biggest reasons these dogs are abandoned or returned to shelters.
This is why they say huskies are stubborn! They're very smart but they have low motivation to please their owners. Living with this guy is a constant battle of wills as he cries, whines, and howls when he doesn't get his way! He is such a baby, and really acts like a God around the house! Talk about a nasty temper!

Zeus the Stubborn Husky vocally protests walk
Zeus the stubborn husky really lives up to his name. If he doesn't want to do it, he will make his wishes known. Many times Zeus wants to walk in the direction towards the house with the dogs out, or where he sees cats and squirrels. This is just one example of when he wants to walk down a different street. Usually he protests by stopping, sometimes whining and howling, but eventually he gives up and follows the pack (in this case his brother Kaden and foster brother Kiro).
