Being pregnant through covid has very few perks. I'm ranting about the downfalls of the medical system and how much it has failed pregnant women in the past two years.

With mask mandates coming to an end, today, in Ontario I decided that I'm pretty pissed off about the talking heads insisting that "we" show compassion for those who choose to still mask up. This rant is brought to you by: we weren't shown compassion for 2 YEARS!

I keep encountering situations involving adults imposing their irrational fears onto children. It's sick. It needs to stop. #MasklessAdventures

So I usually.. Always.. Post rants on twitter but this one feels too important to break into 6 parts. In August 2020, I had a baby. 3 days later, we were admitted to the hospital thanks to an error in the postnatal care and my newborn was swabbed without consent. 13 months later, I just finally heard back from the Ontario college of nurses in regards to the complaint I filed in September of 2020.
