Can you see the caterpillar on this leaf? I was puzzled when evidence suggested leaves on the mango tree in the garden were being eaten. The mystery went on for a number of days before I spotted a flicker of movement on a leaf. I was startled when I looked closer as there was a caterpillar almost completely blending into the pattern of the leaf. I believe it is the caterpillar of the Common Baron butterfly.
