I live stream myself re editing movies to make them more concise, cohesive, and overall better. This month I re edited 2005's King Kong from director Peter Jackson. The Goals for this edit were 1. Reduce the story line of Jack Black’s film 2. Lessen the time on the boat traveling to the island 3. Allow Kong to appear sooner than theatrical (1:10:14) 4. Shorten the film (3:07:15) 5. Make a more cohesive film that is easier to watch in one sitting Each goal was completed in my 2:37:33 version. Knock at the Cabin was an awful movie. From poor dialogue to bad pacing I edited the film to how i feel it should have been from the beginning making a more concise, tighter, and overall less awful film. Starship Troopers is great. The over the top satirical presentation was equally hilarious as it is honest. But what if that was removed and presented itself as a simple sci fi action film?
