Grandma With Alzheimer's Tries To Remember Her Age During Birthday Party
Birthdays are a great occasion to celebrate the passage of the precious gift called life. We should be grateful that we have made it through another year and we shouldn’t take it for granted. Because some people, due to a debilitating illness, can’t remember their age. Such a terrifying illness is Alzheimer and this super granny suffers from it. It really took a toll on her and yet she feels overjoyed when it is time to celebrate her birthday.
She is turning 85 this year and we see how she shares a heartwarming moment for the camera during the celebration party. She may not remember her exact age but her face tells a story of happiness and excitement. While this grandma is holding the birthday card in her hands another female voice is finishing reading by saying ‘Happy birthday, Love, Pat and Roy’. Her reaction is honest and genuine and she keeps repeating ‘Thank you, thank you’. I really wanted that’, which makes everybody else gathered around her bursts out laughing.
When asked how old is she, she gets a little bit confused asking back what was the question to which she answers self-confidently 84. Questions apparently make her feel puzzled so when the others say no, she mistakes her age adding ten years more to the real one.
Being agile and strong like she is, this granny will certainly make to one hundred. As the others say - she is just a girl. Well, we wish this girl to spend her life in peace and well-being.

Quaker parrot goes crazy when grandma sings
My mom lives on the other side of the country and comes to visit once a year. Our Quaker parrot, Charlie, LOVES his grandma! From the minute she walked through our door, Charlie wouldn't shut up until she went over to his cage to talk to him. He goes crazy when she sings to him lol. It cracks us up!

Grandma With Alzheimer's Didn’t Forget How To Yodel
This 84-year-old woman suffers from Alzheimer's disease, and this condition has made her forget many things, but clearly yodeling isn't one of them! Watch this video and enjoy her yodeling. This is one sweet lady that sure made our day! Awesome!
Yodeling is a form of singing which involves repeated and rapid changes of pitch between the low-pitch chest register and the high-pitch head register or falsetto. The English word yodel is derived from the German, and originally Austro-Bavarian, word jodeln, meaning "to utter the syllable jo". This vocal technique is used in many cultures worldwide.
Alzheimer's disease is a chronic neurodegenerative disease that usually starts slowly and worsens over time. It is the cause of 60% to 70% of cases of dementia. The most common early symptom is difficulty in remembering recent events i.e. short-term memory loss. As the disease advances, symptoms can include problems with language, disorientation, easily getting lost, mood swings, loss of motivation, not managing self care, and behavioural issues. Gradually, bodily functions are lost, ultimately leading to death. Although the speed of progression can vary, the average life expectancy following diagnosis is three to nine years.
It is very satisfying to watch how pleased this lady gets when she yodels. It is truly amazing how wonderful she sounds and gives a wonderful performance indeed. It is moments like this that make life worth living, and it is also a bitter reminder that we should live our life to the fullest!

Great Dane Argues With Teenager About Playtime
They might looks like big bullies, with their massive frames of body and deep voices, but Great Danes are actually the kittens in the dog world! They would rather cuddle and play all day, than chase after people.
It would seem, however, that cuddliness and playfulness aren’t the only qualities Great Danes have in common with cats. They also fail to recognize your need for personal space like cats too! So when this huge cat that only looks like a Great Dane wanted to play with her human sister, she didn’t care if the girl was waiting for someone or not. Zoe wants to play and she will get her playtime whether the human likes it or not!
Listen to Zoe the Great Dane have a full on debate with this teenage girl concerning playtime. The girl is waiting for a friend to pick her up, but Zoe just wants to play!
Not to worry, these two get along great and are the best of friends, but Zoe won’t stand being far away from her human sister, so just until her friend comes along, Zoe think it is a time wasted if they do not play!
Zoe might growl and the girl might be chasing her away every time, but “those who fight the most, love each other the most".
