Today, I cover some of the other note worthy speeches from Fancy Farm. Everyone is talking about “retire” being yelled at McConnell, but what about the Republicans chanting “lost the Senate” at him? I also talk about the Lt. Governor speeches as well as the Attorney General Speeches. Every year the Democrats bring someone who doesn’t understand what Fancy Farm is and just yells at everyone, find out who it was this year.

Fancy Farm held their yearly picnic over the weekend. This Kentucky political event attracts thousands of people and each statewide candidate for office gives a speech. Traditionally, this is an opportunity for candidates to tell jokes at their opponent’s expense. Today, I focus on the governor speeches by Beshear and Cameron.

Beshear claims it will be difficult to find new Commissioner of Education because Republican’s are mean.

New political ads from both sides have dropped in the Governor’s race. Beshear’s defense of himself lacks all logic. Kentuckians for the Commonwealth want to raise the minimum wage in Kentucky because things cost too much. Finally, white supremacy flyers were distributed in Lexington neighborhood; Is this something to be concerned about or just a hoax?

Auditor Harmon joins me to discuss his time as State Auditor. We cover topics like county level embezzlement, state employees defrauding the government, and the Beshear Administration’s illegal activities surrounding data breaches.

Just a few weeks ago, news broke that the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) had been storing kids in their offices. When CHFS was testifying before a legislature last week it became apparent that Beshear’s Secretary appointee, Eric Friedlander, has no clue what he is doing. Education Commissioner, Jason Glass, has decided to leave Kentucky. YouTube took down an anti-Beshear political ad for several days due to what the platform labeled as “hate speech”.

The Kentucky Nurse Association comes under fire when news breaks about their “implicit bias training” requirement. Finally, Beshear celebrates giving out millions of our tax dollars in grants to green energy, military, and pharmaceutical companies.

Rep. Doan joins us to talk about last session’s actions on gray machines. Rep. Doan serves as the State House Representative for the 69th district. This pass session he made a move that drew the wrath of House Leadership and the horse track lobby. We talk about how he upset them and why.
