300 km/h near Pyatigorsk
Few places managed to accelerate 300 km/ h, because the oncoming traffic was almost everywhere not separated, and when oncoming traffic drove with restraint, they can turn around and cross the highway across, as well as oncoming cars do not have time to complete overtaking when a motorcycle rides at a speed of 200 + km / h to meet them. On the highway from Nalchik to Pyatigorsk, there was an ideal stretch for a shot, we took advantage of the moment

A trip to Naberezhnye Chelny
The Republic of Tatarstan, Naberezhnye Chelny is a modern, beautiful city
This metropolis is the second after Kazan, called Yar Chally in Tatar. In the past, it was a small town near Kama, until the grandiose construction of KAMAZ production began here in the late 60s of the last century. The architects were given a difficult task - to create from scratch a comfortable city with good infrastructure and large-scale production. And they coped with it!

Abandoned airport near Yelabuga (Republic of Tatarstan)
Abandoned airport near Yelabuga (Republic of Tatarstan)
Under the USSR, Yelabuga had a small airfield that accepted only AN-2 class aircraft. It was located in the area of today's racetrack.
By 1973, an airport was built between Yelabuga and the whole of Bekhterevo, which was very large by those standards, with a capital building. Not only "cornhuskers", but also AN-24 class aircraft could already land on such a strip. Later, when the runway was increased by another 100 meters, even YAK-40 class aircraft began to arrive here.
The heyday was in the 1970s. At that time, the staff of the Yelabuga airport consisted of 40 people. There was a private gangway, a buffet. Four flights to Kazan were made from here every day. At that time, an IL-14 class aircraft was flying. The planes did not fly empty, tickets were in constant short supply. They were sold in the city. Passengers traveled from the city to the airport by regular buses.
The golden age of local aviation lasted until 1976, and then the recession began. By 1983, the volume of traffic had decreased to such a level that the airport staff had to be reduced. The YAK-40 class jet aircraft stopped entering Yelabuga, and the IL-14 class aircraft were replaced by small L-410 class aircraft. Flights had to be reduced to one. But the airport has been operating for many years. The last flights were made shortly before the collapse of the USSR. Now there is a large logistics center on the territory of the runway. Currently, aviation model festivals and championships are held at the airport, in which pilots from all over the country take part. In addition, the lane is used by motorcyclists and motorists.

Vorkuta
Komi Republic, a walk through Vorkuta. An attempt to convey the atmosphere of the city.
The name means "teeming with bears" in Nenets. Geographically, the city beyond the Arctic Circle is located in Europe, and the time here is Moscow. During the Soviet era, the city was the capital of the coal industry, and GULAG prisoners became the first miners. In the 1990s, most of the mines closed, and residents began to leave. A lot of architecture typical of a Soviet industrial city has been preserved here; many artifacts of a bygone era can be found. The weather in these parts is harsh, and frosts are possible even in summer.
Currently, the revival of these regions has begun. Any citizen can register in the federal program and receive up to 1 hectare of land in the Arctic. And if you register as an individual entrepreneur and invest at least one million rubles in your business, the entrepreneur becomes a resident of the Arctic zone, which gives great benefits and the right not to pay taxes for a long time.

One of the most mysterious events occurred in 1395, when Yelets was ravaged by the troops of Khan Tamerlane. Surprisingly, the famous conqueror did not go further, but turned his troops back. Vyborg - A walk through the Monrepos Park
Monrepos Park is the pearl of the Karelian Isthmus
It's picturesque relief is due to the powerful outcrops of granite on the surface. These are the former possessions of the barons von Nicolai, who were engaged in the development of the park and the estate. Andrey Lvovich (Ludwig Heinrich), who received the territory as a gift, was one of the teachers of Catherine II's son Pavel Petrovich. He was the third owner of this place and the first Baron von Nicolai. It was Andrey Lvovich who began to equip the estate, and the landscape park was expanded to modern sizes.
After the revolution, Vyborg was ceded to Finland, and for this reason, until the Second World War, Monrepos remained a family estate. Then Vyborg became part of the USSR. There was a recreation center, an apartment building and even a kindergarten on the territory of the park. In the 1960s, Monrepos became a park of culture and recreation, and its architectural complex received the status of monuments. Since 1988, it has been a historical, architectural and natural museum-reserve.
