Various categories appear in other Buddhist schools depending on the practices they follow. However, in Jodo Shinshu we rely on the Primal Vow of Amida Buddha, so for us, their categories do not apply. In our case, everything starts and ends with Amida. For us, Amida Buddha is everything.
