Sphere Game Legendary - First 3 Levels Walkthrough (No Commentary)
Thought I would check out Sphere Game Legendary, and boy this is a tough game. Precision platformer whereby you control what looks like a bowling ball.
Very nice graphics, but terrible camera control, which will leave you struggling to see where you are supposed to go, but also making the movements much harder. This is a game for fans of super tough precision platformers only I would say.
Here is the blurb
The newest game in the Sphere Game franchise now, with new mechanics, challenges and more diverse scenario variations.
Grab the metal bar to pass the obstacles and reach the portal to reach the next level.
Game developed by Diego Paes.

[REVIEW]: MEGALAN 11 on Nintendo Switch
Get out from the forgotten planet in 11 days.
This is an exploration-puzzle game. Bad luck rescuers have only eleven days to get out of the trap on a planet long abandoned by all.
The ship of a scientific expedition catches a SOS signal, but as a result of an unsuccessful landing, the rescue operation turns out to be a complete failure. You will have to find shelter and adapt to the harsh conditions of the red planet, and even though there are five people in the crew, you have to rely only on yourself.
You have to explore the abandoned base and defend it, make raids in the desert and collect metal for equipment repair.

REVIEW: Hyperball Tachyon on PC (Steam) - GamingCouchPotato.co.uk
From #RendahGames comes #HyperballTachyon, a fast-moving 2D platform game, where you control a ball as you bounce and jump through increasingly difficult levels.
The basic idea of the game is to get from the start point to the finish line in as fast a time as possible.
At first things start out pretty simple, but soon you will face various obstacles including sand traps, water, spikes and so on.
Your ball can do a basic extra jump, but in the differing levels you will find things that help you and things that hinder you.
For example, a collectable that will allow you an extra jump, or columns of wind that will either push you along, or hold you down. This game is all about learning the physics of the ball, and using it to your advantage.
There are lots of little hints while you play, and although the levels can be quite tricky, there is a strong feeling of accomplishment when you do finally get it right, and then the added interest of trying to beat not only your own score, but also trying to climb up that global leader-board and get as close to the top as you can. I notice that the game makers, Rendah Games, top every leader board. So, if you can manage to beat their time, then you know you have just completed a level in epic fashion.
You can change the appearance of your ball, and there are secrets to collect.
And with a small file size for a game, that will probably play on almost any computer or laptop, this is a simple platform game that you should seriously consider taking a look at.
The Good
Simple but fun graphics, easy control system, (much easier using a gamepad than the keyboard). Challenging levels with high replay-ability.
The Bad
I did notice a couple of graphics glitches, and the odd dodgy physics, but these are really small issues that will be fixed in future patches, I am sure.
Overall
A really fun, simple platform game, that is highly addictive. Definitely recommend this to your collection, if you are a fan of physics-based platform games.
I score Hyperball Tachyon on PC a solid 9/10. I really enjoyed playing, and I am going to keep playing to beat those high scores!

Journey PS4 Gameplay
When the Big C first started, Sony had their Play At Home promotion, they gave away a few games for free, full games, that anyone could download and keep. One of those games was #Journey.
I had Journey sat on my account ever since, never downloaded it, till a few days back.
It is such a beautiful game to play, that I thought I would share a short clip of my playing it.
If you did not grab it during the promotion, sadly it now costs about £12, but it is such a beautiful game I highly recommend it to all.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey - Early Opening Sequence
I am a HUGE fan of the #AssassinsCreed series of games, and one of my favourite in the series is #AssassinsCreedOdyssey
Once you get past the Spartans 300 opening, you get this glorious opening show as the Eagle flies around Kefallonia, and finally to your character.
I do like the interaction you have with a couple of goons, and yes your character does use a Greek swear word on them which made me smile.

Gravity Mastery - Review and Levels 1 - 5 Walkthrough - [Gameplay on PC Steam)
Thought I would check out Gravity Mastery, it was released in March 2021, and it looks like one hell of a tricky puzzle game, so thought I would give it a go.
"A perspective-disorienting puzzler where the definition of down is yours to decide. Change the flow of gravity to complete each of The Adviser's varied, but logical tests. Can you become proficient enough to control the six directions and master gravity?"
Although this video shows levels 1-5, I have played a fair bit more and got deeper into the game, and boy do things get tricky, you really need to think in so many different ways, and while at first putting green balls in red boxes seems easy, when there are multiple balls, multiple boxes, and they are all on different sides of the room, suddenly you find yourself sat there thinking "what the hell", but with a bit of practice, and some serious thinking, you will get through the levels.
This game is tough, like real tough, but it is also very good. Definitely one for the puzzle fans out there.
I score it a mind bending 8/10

OVIVO - Gameplay - In the world of OVIVO Black and White exist in harmony
#OVIVO is one truly unique game. First of all everything is in black and white. You play as "OVO" a small round ball. And you have the ability to switch from black to white and back again. Your controls are left and right, and then a button to switch from black to white.
As you move about, you use gravity by switching between the colours as a way to propel yourself through the level, collecting icons and symbols.
There are no instructions. No text, no real menus. You just have to figure it out for yourself, and somehow that works perfectly.
In this video, I am playing just a couple of minutes of the first "level", as you progress through the game, things get trickier, there is no real rules to what you are supposed to do, there are hidden images, and everything is very metaphorical in it's approach.
A fascinating and unique game, I am looking forward to playing more of.

[REVIEW]: A Glider's Journey on PC (Steam)
One thing I have missed in recent years, is the kind of game that just relaxes you, but still offers up a challenge. A Glider's Journey seems to fit right into that genre.
You play using the mouse or a gamepad, there is no accelerator or brake, you just glide. The idea of the game is to get from your starting point, to the finish which is identified as a landing spot.
The problem being that gliding alone won't get you there, so you need to collect power ups that are conveniently placed around the flying area, each one gives you enough power to reach the next. Miss one or two and you will run out of power and crash.
Luckily for me, there is a "very easy" mode, whereby the physics of the game are simplified, and you will never run out of power, so you are free to glide along to your hearts content. Miss a power up, just do a U-turn and pick it up.
Want to just fly around for a bit and listen to the cool chillout music, you can do that too. But at the end of it all, you do need to reach the end of the level, if you want to unlock the next level, and you also need to collect enough of the power ups to activate the landing spot.
There are 15 levels in total, all of various landscapes and locations, and depending on how quickly you pick up the game, you should be able to finish it all in a few hours.
The Good
Easy game to play, I liked the simple polygon graphics. And the music really is very relaxing.
The Bad
There are some moments when you have to fly underground that you can easily lose your bearings and not know which way is up or down, but this is solved when you have tried the level a few times.
Overall
Although the game is quite short, it is fun, and if you truly want the most relaxed experience, just put it in Very Easy mode, and just chill out.
I score the game a solid 8/10

Tinker Racers - Xbox One - (Exclusive Review of this Top Down Racer)
If you grew up in the 1990s, there is a good chance you played a top-down racing game called Micro Machines. And when you load up and start playing Tinker Racers for the first time, that is exactly what will come to mind. But Tinker Racers is much more than just a MM clone. It has its own personality.
The general idea of the game is that you are in control of a Mini RC racer. And you are racing around in your house. On top of kitchen tables, in the office, on the floor etc. The track itself might be drawn with chalk, or ketchup, it doesn't really matter how, just that you can. The view is top down as previously mentioned, although that view itself is not set, and you will automatically zoom in and out somewhat depending on your location to other racers.
