State Rep Marianne Proctor speaks to the School Board Workshop meeting hosted by Superintendent Matthew Turner. #1 Room was set up as a trial hearing-tables facing one another across the room, board on one side elected officials on the other. #2 A mediator (who is a lobbyist) was hired to facilitate the meeting. #3 Turner communicated to the elected officials that this was to be an informal meeting to speak about improving communication and working together. TAX INCREASE COMING SOON BOONE COUNTY!!! District Organizational Chart- Superintendent Matthew Turner gave position recommendations before the budget was even discussed. The Board and district employees conversed on adding positions, change titles and job descriptions, and eliminate some jobs. District ESSER funds will end soon, and now they are scrambling to validate positions. Kid’s curriculum was not the number one focus but cried about how they do not have the budget to add positions that they “need.” P.S. They are adding a $2.4M room to the district office folks… Are you paying attention yet?
