Week 4 - Prayer & Fasting: “How Do I Pray in the Spirit?” ~ Ephesians 6
Consider: When the Spirit stirs your heart to pray for a person/situation, what can you do to physically obey His voice? Take this question personally. As we physically obey the Spirit in prayer, our confidence in what our prayer life looks like begins to build. How beautiful is that?!
Challenge: Will you begin praying for your Fasting life? Perhaps -will you take your first step in seeing what your Fasting life looks like? Maybe -will you take your next step by fasting on the day/time the Spirit asks of you?
Friend, remember to fast “as you are/where you are”.

Week 2 - Prayer & Fasting: “What is the Connection?” ~ Ephesians 2 January 14, 2021
Consider: Who is God to you, relationally speaking? Did you learn of God's love as a Father, a shelter from the storm, a door, a husband, a shepherd, a comforter.... Talk to God through the Name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit in that manner.
**Do you know God? How do you know God? Talk to Him there.
Challenge: Scan through the book of Matthew. Find conversations Jesus has with others; his family, his disciples, his followers, those he healed, etc...

Freedom In Christ ~ In His Judgment (part 2)
November 19, 2020
Consider: Where do you need freedom in judgment the most? What verse can you use as your sword in this fight?
Challenge: Will you begin your determination to “do the right thing for the right reason” with this area of freedom in judgment? To judge is a tool, use it/don’t use for the sake of Jesus.

Freedom In Christ ~ In His Judgment (part 1)
November 12, 2020
Consider: What can we do as the body of Christ to end this particular symptom of this cyclical disease? What can you do to release your grip on those judgment stones?
Challenge: Each time you feel a stone in the palm of your hand, stop and pray for the target that stands before you. Pray for his/her salvation. Pray for their eyes to open to God’s love. Pray for their freedom from living a life without the precious love of our Savior. Then pray for you. Pray for understanding toward the person before you. Pray for your Light to shine in their darkness. Pray for strength to drop your stone, so you can offer a hand to help if/when help is needed.

Freedom In Christ ~ In His Holiness
October 29, 2020
Consider: If Holiness is identified as God’s energy, who can you intentionally pour God’s Holiness into? What manners, habits and/or actions can you submit to God with the intent of extending God’s Holiness into the lives of another?
Challenge: Freedom in His Holiness welcomes your impurity into His presence. Are you smiling in this truth. Your impurity is no longer your identity. Jesus is your identity. We cannot walk in two diverse identities. How can you chart out, draw, or verbalize your “old self” and your “new self” for the purpose of bringing to life what the Lord has done in you?

Freedom In Christ ~ In His Submission
October 22, 2020
Consider: Did you learn something new in the study of the word “submission”? How does viewing this dreaded word in the light of our Savior change your viewpoint in this area of freedom?
Challenge: Put to evidentiary work the heart of Christ's submission. Set your eyes on the face of God. God will not forsake you. He loves you. Live for Him. Love for Him. Submit for Him. He is your number one audience. Anyone else is simply a plant for you to water with His Love.

Freedom In Christ ~ In His Love (Never Forsaken)
October 15, 2020
Consider: Have you received God’s love given to you through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ? Will you share your testimony of when you found His love?
Challenge: Write a letter from God to you. See (via your own words) if you view His love for you through His infinite love or through your human heart.
*Search Scripture if you need to learn more of His verbal love for you.

Freedom In Christ ~ From Your Slavery
October 8, 2020
Consider: Chains of slavery are much like the weight discussed in Hebrews 12. These chains pull us down. They keep us from pressing forward to Life. They cause us to simply “remain” in our slavery. This week’s study ties these last four week’s together.
Challenge: Can you give your chain a name? Once you name it, will you share its name with one person? Often times, if we can name it and pronounce its name aloud, the bondage of that chain begins to set you free. Are you ready to receive this freedom?

Freedom In Christ ~ From Your Weight
October 1, 2020
Consider: Our weight journey is a very personal journey for each of us, but we need a person to walk this journey with us. Sometimes we need more than a person to walk by our side. At times we need a team.
What is the first/next step you need to set your eyes on in order to press forward in what lies ahead? This is your life. This is your future. Live for you.
Challenge: Give your weight issue to Jesus by trusting a friend with your story. Allow her to speak life into the future of your story. Trust yourself to live for your future instead of looking toward the past.

Freedom In Christ ~ From Your Thoughts
September 24, 2020
Consider: the purpose of a weapon is for self protection. Yet, when we attack ourselves it is difficult to hold up that weapon. We become torn within. Wanting to defend ourselves from the thoughts that rage, yet wanting so desperately to cling to the Truth. What weapon of divine warfare can help you defend yourself from your inner thought battle?
Challenge: Who can you ask to help you use that weapon? Is there something you can ask them to do specifically to help you bring freedom to your thoughts?

Freedom In Christ ~ From Your Past
September 17, 2020
Consider: Do you have a success statement you tend to share when you need to build yourself up? Do you have a fail statement you cling to when Jesus desires to draw you forward? Are you willing to share one with a friend? Are you ready to replace these (and the other statements on your personal list) with what Jesus has for your future?
Challenge: Consider giving your past to Christ Jesus. Write them down in order to see what you truly cling to from “what lies behind”. Ask a Sister to help you replace each statement listed with “what lies ahead”.
*Cheat sheet: What Lies Ahead is LIFE. Life Everlasting! See that.

Freedom In Christ ~ Free to be You
September 10, 2020
Consider: How well do you know you? Do you know how to see who you are through the eyes of God? Can you say, “I am knit together by Him.” Can you say, “my weaknesses are boast worthy, for His glory shines upon them.”
Challenge: Study yourself. In kindness, pay attention to who you are in the eyes of the very One who created you, loves you, and is cheering you on to growth and strength and success. (Joshua 1)

Favorite Scripture Passages: Ephesians 5:31
August 27, 2020
Consider: How excited are you to have a marriage discussion? I giggle as I type that question. ;) To be fair, marriage is a constant ride with no track, direction or promised outcome. Thankfully, the Designer of marriage has a few things to say about it. We may be past the Birds & Bees, but we are never past the advice laid out in this passage. I pray we will cling to the truth laid before us this week. ***Bonus LOVE passage: Isaiah 54:5-6
Challenge: Write a love letter to your spouse. Thank him for his strong qualities. Cast a smile upon his heart by way of words shared from yours.
~Single Sister, seal this envelope for the day to come.
~Widowed sister, share your letter with someone who knew your husband. Remember him together.
~Hurt sister, write a letter to the Designer of marriage. Seek His healing, answers, comfort, peace, etc…

Favorite Scripture Passages: Jeremiah 29:11
August 20, 2020
Consider: Psalm 40:5 magnifies our response to the concept that God Almighty has thoughts about you and me. What happens to your heart when you hear this truth? Does your soul long to magnify His Name? Do your words gush forth His Mighty Work? Does your heart sit in silent contemplation of His Presence?
Challenge: Will you consider taking a moment to proclaim and tell of God’s wondrous deeds in your life? How do His deeds confirm His thoughts toward you? Write a love letter to God this week. Thank Him for the evidential act of love He demonstrated to you. Praise His Holy Name!

Favorite Scripture Passages: 2 Corinthians 5:17
August 13, 2020
Consider: As a sister in the family of God, we are not to look upon one another with preconceived thoughts. Typically preconceived thoughts are connected to fleshly opinions. How can we purpose to start each new conversation without judging the flesh? Furthermore, as a daughter of the King, how can we purpose to live each day without judging our own flesh?
Challenge: As you read through the Scripture this week, open your eyes to the message of Life and Living. Remembering that Jesus’ life was lived for you. His death was on behalf of your living in freedom from the chains of sin. And His resurrection proves that life in Him is ever Eternal and daily present!

Favorite Scripture Passages: Hebrews 6:19
August 6, 2020

Challenge: Consider how This Hope affects you daily. Ponder the depth of This Hope in the choices you are facing. Utilize the power of This Hope. The power that enables you instant access to communicate with the very designer of your soul. Oh, how He longs for you! Oh, how He loves you! For He gave His all to have full access with you. Consider: Waiting. Waiting is worked out by the movements of the fingers of God as we rest in the mighty hand of God. My prayer is that we will ponder the Lord’s Hand as we wait in its comfort and strength. Do you see how God began a new work in you- Starting with your Christian testimony and transforming your personal testimony as you wait for His glorious return?
