Russian servicemen repelled the attack, destroying an armored personnel carrier and 6 enemy fighters. ▪️In the morning, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked Melitopol, some of the shells were intercepted by air defense systems. ▪️Late in the evening, Geranium-2 kamikaze drones hit targets on the outskirts of Zaporozhye. 🔻Southern Front: Nikolaev-Berislav direction ▪️Ukrainian formations fired at the settlements of the Kherson region: the building of the city administration in Golaya Pristan', the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, as well as the port and civilian infrastructure of Kherson were hit. ⚡Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine (3 November 2022) Part I (See Part II (https://t.me/mod_russia_en/4848)) The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation. ◽In Kupyansk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with two companies of foreign mercenaries attempted to attack Russian positions in the direction of Novoselovskoye (Lugansk People's Republic). All the enemy's attacks have been repelled. 💥During the day, more than 130 militants and Ukrainian personnel have been killed, three tanks, two armoured fighting vehicles, and two Humvees have been damaged due to firepower and Russian forces' actions. ◽In Krasny Liman direction, the AFU failed to conduct an offensive with three reinforced battalions in the direction of Makeyevka, Ploshchanka, and Chervonopopovka (Lugansk People's Republic). If the purchase of drones is not surprising, in the second case the question may arise: why does the Russian Armed Forces need missiles from the Islamic Republic at all? What exactly can Iran provide? According to public sources, Tehran was considering supplying two types of systems - Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar. ▪️ The Fateh-110 is an operational tactical missile system on a three-axle vehicle chassis. This makes it possible to hit targets at long distances with high accuracy and destructive power thanks to its powerful warhead. 🩸 In terms of increased operational and combat capabilities, the Iranian missiles will expand the range of weapons in addition to the more expensive Russian Iskander. This will also make it possible to replenish Russian tactical weaponry and continue massive strikes against targets in AFU-controlled territory.
