ABC Sunday Night Movie Classic Early 80's Open for John Carpenter's "The Fog"
If you grew up in the 70's and 80's, before cable TV and video stores took off, unless you went to the movie theater, the only way to see recent movies was to wait until they came to the three big networks, and it was a pretty big deal back then with lots of promotion and fanfare.
Here's the classic ABC tunnel opening for their network premiere of John Carpenter's classic 1980 horror "The Fog". This opening started running (I believe) in the fall of 1981 - 1987.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964) Cult Classic Christmas Movie
Starring John Call, Leonard Hicks, Vincent Beck, Bill McCutcheon, Victor Stiles
Donna Conforti, Chris Month, Pia Zadora, Leila Martin and Charles Renn
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is a 1964 American science fiction comedy film directed by Nicholas Webster, produced and written by Paul L. Jacobson, based on a story by Glenville Mareth, that stars John Call as Santa Claus. It also features a ten-year-old Pia Zadora as Girmar, one of the Martian children. The film also marks the first documented appearance of Mrs. Claus in a motion picture (Doris Rich plays the role), coming three weeks before the television special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, which also featured Mrs. Claus.
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians received mostly negative reviews, with most of its positive feedback coming in the form of the film being so bad, it's good. The film has since been viewed as a cult film and was featured in season 3 episode 21 of Mystery Science Theater 3000 in 1991.
This film is in the public domain in the United States.

BLACK CHRISTMAS (1974) Original U.S. TV Spot - Classic Slasher Horror
Black Christmas (originally titled "Silent Night, Evil Night" in the United States and retitled "Stranger in the House" on television and pay-tv screenings) is a 1974 Canadian slasher film produced and directed by Bob Clark (A Christmas Story (1983) and Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things (1972)), and written by A. Roy Moore.
It stars Olivia Hussey, Keir Dullea, Margot Kidder, Andrea Martin, Lynne Griffin and John Saxon. The story follows a group of sorority sisters who receive threatening phone calls and are eventually stalked and murdered by a deranged killer during the Christmas season.
Inspired by the urban legend "the babysitter and the man upstairs" and a series of murders that took place in the Westmount neighborhood of Montreal, Quebec, Moore wrote the screenplay under the title Stop Me. The filmmakers made numerous alterations to the script, primarily the shifting to a university setting with young adult characters. It was shot in Toronto in 1974 on an estimated budget of $686,000, and was distributed theatrically in N. America by Warner Bros.
Upon its release, Black Christmas received mixed reviews, but it has since received critical re-appraisal, with film historians noting it for being one of the earliest slasher films. It is also praised for its influence on John Carpenter's Halloween (1978). Aside from its earning a cult following since its release, a novelization written by Lee Hays was published in 1976. It is the first film in the Black Christmas series, being followed by two remakes in 2006 and 2019.
Here's the full U.S. TV spot from 1974. For entertainment, historical & nostalgic purposes only.

Lady of Burlesque (1943) Barbra Stanwyck Classic Public Domain Film
Based on The G-String Murders, by Gypsy Rose
After one member of their group is murdered, the performers at a burlesque house must work together to find out who the killer is before they strike again. It's a mystery musical comedy.
Starring Barbra Stanwyck, Michael O'Shea, J. Edward Bromberg, Iris Adrian, Gloria Dickson, Charles Dingle and Pinky Lee.
Directed by William A. Wellman
Trivia (c/o imdb):
* This film was a success at the box office, earning a profit of $650,000 ($9.7M in 2018) according to studio records.
* This was Michael O'Shea's feature film debut.
* According to October 15, 1941, news item in Hollywood Reporter, producer David O. Selznick had taken out an option on Gypsy Rose Lee's novel for $1,000 against a $25,000 purchase price and that he was to test Lee for the starring role in the film. Other Hollywood Reporter news item indicate that Selznick was planning to loan producer John Houseman to United Artists for production, that the book option was later picked up by United Artists for $25,000 asking price ($400,000 in 2018), and that Joseph Cotten was considered for a lead role in the film.
* The Hays production code office objected to a G-string being the murder weapon and that the "Pickle Persuader" routine was potentially objectionable. However, both stayed in the film.
* Although it's pretty obvious the broken-down bathroom fixture discussed by the members of the troupe is none other than a toilet, the Production Code wouldn't allow the offending word to be uttered or shown, and when the replacement arrives, it's a bathroom sink.
* Originally Released Theatrically through United Artists in 1943, the producers failed to renew the copyright in time, and the film fell into the public domain in the 70's.

Harrison Smith on Tim Pool (2022 Call-in Clip)
I've always loved this clip. American Journal's Harrison Smith hits the nail on the head when describing Tim Pool. I'm not sure if Harrison still feels this way about him since he was just on Tim's podcast a few months ago. I didn't see it because I'm not a TP fan. However, I am a fan of Harrison Smith and he's really the only person that I enjoy watching on Info Wars.
American Journal with Harrison Smith can normally be seen M-F 9am - 12 noon Eastern on Info Wars.

Rain (1932) Joan Crawford Classic - Public Domain Movie
Starring Joan Crawford. Walter Huston, William Gargan, Walter Catlett, Mary Shaw, Matt Moore and Beulah Bondi
Rain is a 1932 classic drama starring Joan Crawford as a prostitute named Sadie Thompson. Walter Huston also stars as a conflicted missionary who wants to reform Sadie, but whose own morals start decaying. Crawford was loaned out by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to United Artists for this film, which was directed by Lewis Milestone.
Rain, is a "pre-code" release, and it was not well received, neither critically nor financially upon initial release; mainly because audiences could not accept Crawford's character, which was completely unique to anything that she had done up to that point.
The film earned $538,000 in the US and Canada, and $166,000 elsewhere, resulting in a total loss of $198,000 (in 1932).
However, over 90 years later, the film finally earned the respect that it deserves, and it's easy to see why Crawford was considered by most to be Hollywood royalty.
In 1960, due to the copyright claimant's failure to renew the copyright registration in the 28th year after publication, the film entered the list of films in the public domain in the United States.
