LaVar Ball Takes His Feud with President Trump To A New Level

LaVar Ball continues his feud with President Donald Trump by questioning the commander-in-chief's role in freeing his son from Chinese authorities. In an interview for CNN, the father of LiAngelo Ball, one of three UCLA basketball players arrested in China accused of shoplifting earlier this month, was asked what Trump did to free the trio. Things quickly derailed despite of the best efforts of host Chris Cuomo, and Ball once again refused to thank Trump. 'What did he [Trump] do for my son?' Ball asked Cuomo. 'I don't have to go around thanking everybody. I don't have to go around thanking everybody.' Ball refused to acknowledge Trump's role in returning his son and two other UCLA basketball players, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill, to the US. Trump was not happy with the lack of gratitude, tweeting that he should have left the three teens in jail and that Ball was 'very ungrateful'. On the other hand, all three UCLA players who have been suspended indefinitely, thanked Trump for his efforts during their on-campus news conference. Ball said: 'What was [Trump] over there for? Don't tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.' Watch as Ball and Cuomo enroll into a back-and-forth argument about why Ball wouldn't thank the President. The interview descended into even further madness when Ball asked Cuomo for 90 seconds straight to thank him for appearing on the program.

For Thanksgiving, Cops Give Civilians Something Bigger That A Ticket

The holiday season can be a very stressful time for many people, so when a big day like Thanksgiving comes along, the last thing anyone would need is to pay for a traffic ticket. But for 25 civilians in Laredo, Texas, that was exactly what they were headed for. However, on Friday, November 17, when they committed their traffic violations, the Laredo Police Department gave them something that was way bigger than a traffic ticket. While the drivers were going back and forth whether they should receive a citation or not, the officers handed them a written warning and then they happily presented them with their very own Thanksgiving turkey. The turkeys were donated by a local business, who has been kept anonymous, and the officers devised the plan as part of Operation Peacemaker. “The officers came up with the idea and that commitment to the betterment and service to our community is what makes me proudest to be the head of such a dedicated and compassionate group of officers," Chief Claudio Treviño stated on Facebook. The civilians were obviously surprised by the surprise gift, and a video posted to YouTube shows a mix of shock, gratitude, and happy tears. “The season is right for giving thanks for all of our blessings," LPD wrote on Facebook.
