Ironically, I spoke to 3StevesFilms (not in the audio/video) out the front of the hospital when I bailed from the hospital and visited a local GP centre as the Joondalup Hospital doesn’t prioritise chest pains and put me on a 3 hour waiting list. This video is podcast style audio of my encounter with the Hospital. After I bailed from the hospital I was back within 30 mins with ECG results from the local GP centre and they instructed me to go to Hospital for further testing. Once I got back to the hospital, they informed me I would be out on another 3 hour waiting list so I cracked the $hits and grabbed my paperwork and bailed from the hospital. 3StevesFilms was there with a friend as this unfolded. Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin is opening up about his sudden collapse during a football game and his remarkable recovery. During an interview with Michael Strahan on "Good Morning America," the 24-year-old Bills safety said he feels grateful to be alive. "That just kinda put things in perspective for me, you know, hearing it from the doctor," Hamlin said. "Things could have went differently and the details of the situation of everything that happened on the field -- it could have been -- it could have been the last of me." Hamlin said he remembers preparing for that Monday night game six weeks ago against the Cincinnati Bengals, one of the last of the NFL season. He said he was feeling great. "I remember the things that we were focused on going into the game," Hamlin told Strahan. "Just trying to get a win." But with 5:58 left to go in the 1st quarter -- after making a tackle -- Hamlin stood up and then suddenly collapsed, going into cardiac arrest. Denny Kellington, the assistant athletic trainer for the Bills, immediately began performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, on Hamlin. If CPR is performed on a patient immediately, it can double or triple the odds of survival, according to the American Heart Association. Emergency personnel also used automated external defibrillator, or an AED, a medical device that analyzes the heart's rhythm and will deliver an electrical shock if needed. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is calling on Congress to take action in response to a train derailment earlier this month, which has sparked concerns of lasting environmental damage and health issues for residents. Back on 3 February, a freight train derailed in the town of East Palestine, with 20 of the cars carrying hazardous materials. As part of the clean-up operation and in a move to prevent a chemical explosion, officials carried out a controlled detonation which sent noxious black clouds billowing into the air. On Tuesday, Mr DeWine said that the railroad was not required to notify Ohio about toxic chemicals travelling through the state because the majority of the cars didn’t contain a hazardous substance and so the train, overall, wasn’t classed as a “high hazardous material train”. He branded this process “absurd”, saying that “Congress needs to take a look at how these things are handled”. “We should know when we have trains carrying hazardous material that are going through the state of Ohio,” he added.
