COVID-19 Tips: Cleaning & Disinfecting Workspaces
To reduce the risk of spreading disease within the office, it is important that we practice frequent and good cleaning of common surfaces.
• Use a cleaner that has been approved by Health Canada with a DIN
• Pay attention to cleaning your keyboard
• Keep your phone off communal surfaces as best as you can as well as clean it once in a while
• Ensure that your office supplies are wiped down or cleaned once in a while
• Doorknobs and buttons can be contaminated, so make sure to practice hand hygiene afterwards
• Pay attention to your personal bags and backpacks because they may come into contact with a lot of surfaces.
If we all gave a bit of time to make sure all the common office items and surfaces get a cleaning, we can reduce the spread of the virus during a pandemic and during the regular influenza season as well.
