DESCRIPTION: An introductory course focused on adjusting your shotgun for home defense $149 – Limited to 12 Students (1 Instructor per 4 students) TOPICS COVERED: Understanding your Ammo, Slug Zero, and Shot Patterning, Utilizing Ready Positions, Standard Response Drills & Driving the Weapon, Emergency & Tactical Reloads, Testing Alternate Shotguns, Equipment, and Lasers EQUIPMENT NEEDED:- Shotgun in good functional condition, Serviceable Sling & Dump Pouch, 150 / 200 rounds total. One of our many Courses of Fire, is Stress Shoot. Get your heart pumping and your adrenaline up, before you attempt to take shots are the targets. This will help you understand how the body reacts under stress and how it will effect your performance with your firearm.

Call and schedule the one-time half hour safety orientation. This covers our range safety procedures and confirms you can draw a firearm safely. Building off intro. to Defensive Carbine, Defensive Carbine 2 teaches you to keep the weapon up and running by correcting malfunctions under stress. With the introduction of dynamic movement, this class teaches you how to move with your weapon.

If you just started shooting or you have been shooting for a while and are just not happy with your results, this lesson is for you. This is where you fine tune your marksmanship accuracy. Most shooters develop bad habits without a strong understanding of marksmanship fundamentals. Ever wonder why you get inconsistent groups? How about low or left groups? Your Guardian Coach will fully explain theses fundamentals so you will finally understand what is actually happening when you fire your shot. These fundamentals are not physical like stance and grip but are mental such as thought process and mental discipline. This understanding will make it possible for you to consistently place rounds where you want.

Impact Weapons Group Class, this Saturday, Oct. 21, 12 to 4 pm. Call Guardian at (267) 387-6357 to reserve your spot and secure your training. Cost is $100 and includes all needed gear. Each of us can only generate a certain amount of force. With weapons, a smaller defender can generate more force and overcome a larger attacker. From flashlights, tactical pens, kubotans, ASP expandable batons to glass bottles and bricks. Our Coaches and Instructors will show you how to use these items effectively against your attacker. Participants will engage in a class based off common street and close quarter situations where impact weapons would and could be needed. Rapid deployment of these tools along with fast paced scenarios will help you defend yourself in an uncertain world.

This Saturday, 10/28/17, from 12 pm to 3 pm Guardian Training Center is hosting our Defensive Spray Group Class. You will learn the differences, pros and cons between the vast selections of defensive sprays. Our Coaches will then show you how to actually deploy the sprays in an effective manner. This is a hands on course that uses Training Sprays, pressurized water in the same canisters as the actual carry spray. This gives you the most realistic training available. This course is a 4 hour block of instruction on when and how to deploy a weapon while already physically engaged with the attacker. We will focus on the deployment of handguns and edged weapons from standing clinch positions as well as a variety of ground positions. Students may wear comfortable attire and bring water as the training will be physical in nature. This course will be comprised of classroom discussion and hands on combatives training. Topics covered will include the following: Methods of carrying concealed weapons; Principles of drawing weapons from concealment; Basic upper body grappling; Fundamental Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) ground concepts; When and how to access a weapon from concealment; Course will cover accessing both edged weapons and firearms from concealment during the fight. Back by popular demand, the "Sensory Overload Challenge" this Sat. 9/9 & Sun 9/10. We changed the scoring, the rules and added a pairs and couples challenge so you can compete as a team. Now 2 people can run the challenge together and combine your scores or 1 loads while 1 shoots and then switches. Bring your friends and have them record your runs or let our Coaches record it for you. Many Ballistic test have been performed over the years. Most containing some type of bias in one form or another. Whether you choose to believe the FBI tests, Local PD test, Historical accounts or Gun magazines, we strongly suggest you sit down with our Coaches and Instructors for a discussion on the many variables that affect terminal ballistics. Modern controlled expansion ammunition is affected by many things such as, clothing types, glass, drywall, sheet metal, etc. Full Metal Jacketed ammunition, such as that used for target shooting and the Military are affected different. Cost, availability, comfort and shooter performance all have effects on the reason an individual or agency selects a caliber. Ego and marketing have no place in the personal protection field.
