Bistek Tagalog | Beefsteak | Filipino Beefsteak Recipe
Bistek Tagalog, also known as beefsteak, is a portion of popular Filipino comfort food. It's made up of thin-sliced beef sirloin and marinated with citrus fruit such as Philippine lemon (Calamansi) or yellow lemon's juice, soya sauce, garlic, and black pepper for at least an hour or longer.
Ingredients:
1/2 Kg Beef Sirloin
7 Tbsp of soy sauce
5 - pieces Philippine lemon (Calamansi) or 1 - piece Lemon
1Tbsp of ground black pepper
1 Tbsp of garlic powder 2 - medium sizes of white or red onions cut into rings
3-5 cloves of garlic minced
1 Tbsp of sugar
