But to apply for a background check, there should be a question on the application that asks what gender the applicant is. There should also be a question to the effect of "Have you ever been treated, diagnosed, or otherwise experienced any form of mental illness?" The application should be denied if the answer is anything other than male or female or if the question is left unanswered. No application means no background check; without a background check, you cannot legally purchase a gun. In addition, schools should be made more secure by the use of metal detectors, body scans, bullet-proof windows, plain-clothed security guards, and allowing teachers to carry concealed weapons. All of these measures can be done without making the school look like a prison. There are security measures in airports, why not protect our children? It is because the left wants to kill us. For examples, look at the East Palestine train wreck, drag queen story hour, the indoctrination of students, the open southern border, and Biden's response to the Nashville shooting.
