Driving to Turkey from Slovenia. I am testing a setting with OBS to see if it works. It didn't work before. But I am assured it does work. I want to make sure that it's not going to change what I think.

Today I am driving into Montenegro in ETS We'll see if I get some chatters. Not a lowly streetperson with a hat out, I am a game playing American with a DLC called West Balkans which is the newest DLC of the games at the time unless something else came out in the last week. It was made in late 2023 so it's pretty recent. Looks pretty good I suppose. I think there are differences such as street things, and bridges at angles, and things like that. Looks pretty good. One thing about Euro Truck and other Truck simulators, it can help you learn where cities and places are geographically. Last week I drove out of Turin into Croatia (English spellings) and this week it's to be Slovenia (north east from Italy, south of Austria, north of Croatia) down to Montenegro which is north of Greece. Fans of Truck Simulator games have the Greece DLC on the horizon as the next release. Today is the first all in the new DLC day. Hope I don't get run off the road again like in Italy.

another attempt at the 1720x720 stream for ultra wide screens. I have spent today setting up the OBS so that I will be able to use two different versions on every necessary unit. This way I can open the 1720 version when I want to do Trucking, and the ordinary 1280 version for music. See before when I ran the two from the same version of OBS, every computer ended up with messed up OBS settings. It was a horrendous thing to try and fix them all.

I sometimes lose. Depends which Rule. See the lower right rule? I can lose that version pretty niftily. My strategy there is easy, get really lucky with the dice and buy all the auctions. Hell they're always worth more to morgage than they cost with the Dumb ass AI players. But it's the luck of the rolling dice that makes the difference in this one. AI basically looks like programmed basically.

Clever Audio Plugins, got a few more to look at in this basic Bitwig DAW. Decided the Bitwig is lacking in general of all the myriad of things I have in Studio One. If I still have time I will show the difference between the two as I see it by opening Studio One after using the Bitwig program to check out the CLAP plugins I have

Clever Audio Plugins, the faster to process audio because they use a new standard. The processing cores better used, the MIDI 2.0 compatibility, the Plugin Scan not requiring plugin instantiation so very much faster. Per note automation... The main program this started for using was Bitwig Which I have never used. I will now try that and install it. I have also downloaded a few plugins of CLAP type.

Because if you do this, if you attempt to make these stupid consumers who are easy prey know what you know as a master of your craft and an unpaid teacher, you will be attacked and censored most ruthlessly for any of a myriad of excuses which won't include "because we want to prey on these stupid consumers" So make liberal information gathering and sharing great again. This starts from Newcastle in Northern England or wherever that is Upon Time or Thyme however that is spelled. I think one of the Recordings by my favorite band Led Zeppelin mentioned that the Double Bass (bass fiddle) Played by John Paul Jones was bought there or something.

including 20 or so minutes of Raw Prophet and arps at the start, the first piece goes a little more than an hour the 2nd part of the first piece is more mellow and based around a loop from the DX playing the iPhone Moog Model D, with Velvet electric piano (VST) on that. The Prophet enters after a program change (visible in the details of the video at that moment that it changes). It proceeds towards a hypnotic and mellow end. The 2nd music piece is more hypnotic and mellow and spans almost a 2nd hour. something about like that anyway.

System 1m iPhone (sparsely Moog Keith Emerson sounding parts here and there) Prophet 10, the droning, which was the inspiration and recorded along with an earlier almost entirely different session just this one droning part is the only part from that. Prophet 10 is used for a synth onslaugt (about 10 min see accomp. mixing video on Rumble) So there are 2 separate Prophet 10 performances. The System 1m was recorded along with the 2nd Prophet and is consisting of various whirring noises, and other thumping sounds. Drums. These were after the initial Prophet, because it was better with re record which I'd played orig Pro and orig drums simultaneous and drums weren't very consistent. So I re recorded a long drum part of about 27 minutes. Then I cut that out and looped a 6+ minute stretch of it (between the 2 synth fuckups after it started doing the droning, the better portion of the drone, lasted about 6.25 minutes) about 7.3 times~along with the original stretch of prophet drone. Why 7.3 times? Because that's how long I played around on the guitar. At some point of drumming the 2nd take I realized I was playing something that sounded slightly in tune with Midnight Rider and in the initial recording (found on Rumble) you will hear some singing of that while I drummed. After finishing the drums I was listening back and craved to play the guitar along with this Allman Brothers sound. So you get that. At some later on point in the jam I decided that I would try to figure out how to do Mountain by Donovan (the Allman Brothers did that one and called it Mountain Jam). The learning bits were sort of bad sounding so I boidsed them out. Using a setting for the plugin Boids that I developed which inverts the guitar sound pretty much, cloaked these earlier efforts during the original recording at playing Mountain. So the Mix video was 2 hours. The 2nd Drum recording was about 2 hours. They will both be on the Rumble channel. This is not even slightly copy right infringement and I don't have to say that there's anything to do with Midnight Rider here. After all the inspiration was from just my tempo and the drone and the way I play the drums with a lot of swing. Just them are rock n roll and I am rock n roll. This is completely its own thing. Just a pure sweet jam I was happy to be the part of. Happy to be able to mix this another time. Happy to make the music. It's ok you don't have to pay me to do shit I like to do. Done even have to listen to it. It doesn't really matter any more that no one ever listened to any of my music. I listened to it myself. Made new stuff all the time. A day or two each piece I could listen again and again. Always tripped out to the sound of it. But I'm pretty good at it you know? Been doing this for years. Doesn't sound anything like your popular radio in 2024 and I'm good with that. Just adding some synths to the prev video's guitar stuff and the one from June 4 was the base sounds, the synth only from June 4. Here I cut and duplicated the loop until it filled the guitar performance drum performance / practice from 2 days ago and changed fx on the orig synth and the guitar also. As It started out it had both the original drum track playing out and the new loop. Which is weird because I muted that original drum track, but there it was anyway. You can see me mute it if you watch. Don't know how it became unmuted, but it causes real muddy drum sound till the 2nd track ends. That's why you get the flury of drumming there around the time the ticker in S1 says is 1 hour and 5 minutes or so. As it went I set to record 2nd proph trak which came to be a funky bass played by 2 arping midi devices. It varies but generally stuck on that 447 bass setting I made after the first few keyings of some choice settings. Finally clearing out the boids preset that was stifling the guitar performance (probably for the best) during the last 10 minutes you get the guitar performance which was the only part I felt was that good on the guitar anyways as I was tuning and warming up thru the earlier parts. In all a decent track. Not noteworthy except the drums were pretty good I felt that they carried a good rhythm thruout and also that they were set to loop by chance in exactly the right place. There were a few choice guitar licks after the boids got turned off here. Added in some iPhone Keith setting waveform seen in lower VA of thumbnail

This really ain't got that much to do with Idlewild South but I just made the prophet and drum track (original) on June 4, and today going back thru, the droning prophet and drums without extra instruments (solod) made me think of the song. So it took on an Allman Brothers Theme. Also heard is Mountain Jam (Donovan). I am just practicing here, really no need to get all heavy about all the mistakes I made. I didn't even record any of the vocals I just sang them into the OBS mic in only. So that would have to be redone if I got serious about this one, but I probably won't. If you enjoy practices and outtakes you might like this. But not if you don't like Southern Rock probably. I don't know.
