The Golf Specialist is one of three W. C. Fields short films that fell into the public domain after the copyright lapsed in the 1960s (the other two being The Dentist, 1932, and The Fatal Glass of Beer, 1933). As such, these three films frequently appear on inexpensive video or DVD compilations.

The Alchemy of Color Filters and Mirrors: Short Exploration of Frankenstein (1910).
This is the first time I have made a video such as this and while you can hear my voice and the credit read Narrated and Written by Mark A. Rivera, I actually just winged it after watching the film several times since I first came across it a week or two ago. This was all new to me as far as recording a voice over after choosing the pieces from the film. The mic needs a bit of adjustment, but never the less I don’t think this was a bad first run and hopefully I will get better because channels evolve and I have thought about creating more original content for this channel, beginning with a study of select public domain films in the library here as well as studies in camera movement and the visual language of cinema, which itself continues to evolve here on YouTube. The equipment used to make this video is strictly entry level, but in case your curious the video was edited using iMovie on an iPad 10 point 2 inch Retina Display running the latest version of iPad OS with an Apple Keyboard cover, a Mercase USB Professional Condenser Microphone model number BM-6 and Sony Compact Folding Earphones MDR-7X110. Thank you for watching.

Frankenstein (1910).
Title
Frankenstein
Summary
"While he is in college, Frankenstein decides he must attempt to make a perfect human being. The being he creates is given life in a vat of burning chemicals. On the day Frankenstein weds his sweetheart, who has been living patiently at home, he sees the monster he created reflected in a mirror. Having disappeared, the monster returns to his creator to gain acceptance. However, when the creature is in front of the mirror he disappears again, with only his slowly vanishing reflection left. When Frankenstein arrives and stands in front of the same mirror he witnesses the fading image, signifying the monster's destruction in the face of Frankenstein's increased love for his wife and life"--The Frankenstein film sourcebook.

Copyright-Only Dedication* (based on United States law)
or Public Domain Certification
The person or persons who have associated work with this document (the "Dedicator" or "Certifier") hereby either (a) certifies that, to the best of his knowledge, the work of authorship identified is in the public domain of the country from which the work is published, or (b) hereby dedicates whatever copyright the dedicators holds in the work of authorship identified below (the "Work") to the public domain. A certifier, moreover, dedicates any copyright interest he may have in the associated work, and for these purposes, is described as a "dedicator" below.
A certifier has taken reasonable steps to verify the copyright status of this work. Certifier recognizes that his good faith efforts may not shield him from liability if in fact the work certified is not in the public domain.
Dedicator makes this dedication for the benefit of the public at large and to the detriment of the Dedicator's heirs and successors. Dedicator intends this dedication to be an overt act of relinquishment in perpetuity of all present and future rights under copyright law, whether vested or contingent, in the Work. Dedicator understands that such relinquishment of all rights includes the relinquishment of all rights to enforce (by lawsuit or otherwise) those copyrights in the Work.
Dedicator recognizes that, once placed in the public domain, the Work may be freely reproduced, distributed, transmitted, used, modified, built upon, or otherwise exploited by anyone for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial, and in any way, including by methods that have not yet been invented or conceived.

Personal Note
According to Wikimedia Commons, The Animal Kingdom (1932) is in the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication (CC0 1.0) Public Domain Dedication, which states the film has no copyright. Since Wikimedia Commons used a different source print, I did not feel comfortable with using the license, which I should note is the recommended license Creative Commons tells dedicators to use, but since the older license is what was linked to the source print on the Internet Archive, I posted that license as proof of The Animal Kingdom’s status in the pubic domain, which with all the evidence I have already compiled, it is, but just in case here is a link to the other license for the Wikimedia Commons print, which although I did not use as my source print for the film’s presentation at GenreOnlinenet channel on Rumble, I am including in the interest of transparency and because I care about intellectual property and Copyright and while I am not an attorney, I do my best to research before I post so I have evidence to dispute a counter claim, which regardless is always in everyone’s best interest. Thank you.

The Hitch-Hiker (1953). Creative Commons Public Domain Mark 1.0 License.
Personal Note
There are two versions of The Hitch-Hiker (1953) in the public domain, but with different licenses. This is the 2014 restored version. The post 2014 version is uploaded here on Rumble under a separate heading and file in the interest of maintaining the integrity of thorough research before a film is uploaded to GenreOnline channel on Rumble and transparency with reference links for verification. You can tell this is the restored 2014 version by the add date in the Internet Archive documentation detailed below. The 2014 restoration was made from the original 35mm negative hence for reasons I cannot fully explain other than that appears to be why there are two similar, but never the less different licenses. Thank you.
The Hitch-Hiker was the first American mainstream film noir directed by a woman. It was selected in 1998 for preservation in the United States National Film Registry as being "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant." The film is in the public domain.
In January 2014, a restored 35mm print was premiered by the Film Noir Foundation at Noir City 12 at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco. On April 6, 2014 The Hitch-Hiker was shown again at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. Mary Ann Anderson author of The Making of The Hitch-Hiker appeared at this event.

The failure of the original copyright holder to renew the film's copyright resulted in it falling into public domain, meaning that virtually anyone could duplicate and sell a VHS/DVD copy of the film. Therefore, many of the versions of this film available on the market are either severely (and usually badly) edited and/or of extremely poor quality, having been duped from second- or third-generation (or more) copies of the film.

In 1979, the film entered the public domain in the United States because Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer did not renew its copyright registration in the 28th year after publication.

One of a handful of MGM productions of 1950-51 period whose original copyrights were never renewed and are now in the Public Domain; for this reason this title is now offered, often in very inferior copies, at bargain prices by numerous DVD distributors that do not normally handle copyrighted or MGM material.

Notes about the restoration by the uploader.
This version of Zontar is based on this version. The color in the picture was nicer but the sound was very low.
Picture is slightly better.
Differences
The soundtrack has been remastered with higher volume levels, parametric EQ to help with any high-end cracking, bass boost to the low end, and some de-noising and de-crackling. It's not perfect but it's much better. Combined with the enhanced color it makes for a more enjoyable cheesy film experience.
The picture has been slightly enhanced but not much. The only thing missing is possible frame stabilization

How to apply for this dedication in your own works and the circumstances it entails.
CC0
You are using a tool for freeing your own work of copyright restrictions around the world. You may use this tool even if your work is free of copyright in some jurisdictions, if you want to ensure it is free everywhere. This may be the case if you are a museum or library reproducing a work in the public domain and want to convey clearly to the public that you claim no copyright in your digital copy. Creative Commons does not recommend this tool for works that are already in the public domain worldwide. Instead, please use the Public Domain Mark for such works.
Using CC0, you can waive all copyrights and related or neighboring rights that you may have in all jurisdictions worldwide, such as your moral rights (to the extent waivable), your publicity or privacy rights, rights you have protecting against unfair competition, and database rights and rights protecting the extraction, dissemination and reuse of data.
Keep in mind that you cannot waive rights to a work that you do not own unless you have permission from the owner. To avoid infringing third party rights, you should consult with your legal advisor if you are unsure whether you have all the rights you need to distribute the work.
Please note that this is not a registration process and Creative Commons does not store or save any of the information you enter. This tool guides you through the process of generating HTML with embedded metadata for marking your work as being available under CC0. Your work will not be associated with CC0 or made available under CC0 until you publish it marked as being so.

And Then There Were None (1945).
And then there were none (1945).
Fascinating notes here on the copyright status, how it feel into the public domain and the reaction afterwards. As noted here from Wikipedia:
Though it was distributed by a major studio, 20th Century Fox, the copyright was allowed to lapse and the film is now in the public domain. Several different editions of varying quality have been released to home video formats.
The name of the film sometimes varies with who listed it. In 1960, Radio Times altered the title to Ten Little Niggers for an airing of Clair's film on BBC television on 9 July, the original title of the novel as published in the UK.
Sensitivity to the original title of the novel was remarked by Sadie Stein in 2016, commenting on a BBC miniseries with the title And Then There Were None, which she said "has been an enormous hit in the UK." In general, "Christie’s work is not known for its racial sensitivity, and by modern standards her oeuvre is rife with casual Orientalism." The original title was based on a rhyme from minstrel shows and children's games, "a rhyme so macabre and distressing one doesn’t hear it now outside of the Agatha Christie context." Stein quotes Alison Light as to the power of the original name of the island in the novel, Nigger Island, "to conjure up a thrilling ‘otherness’, a place where revelations about the ‘dark side’ of the English would be appropriate."Speaking of the "widely known" 1945 movie, Stein added that "we’re merely faced with fantastic amounts of violence, and a rhyme so macabre and distressing one doesn’t hear it now outside of the Agatha Christie context." She felt that the original title of the novel in the UK, seen now, "that original title, it jars, viscerally."

Another reality of Public Domain works is that they often are released multiple times by various media outlets in the same year. Between 2000 and 2018 there were at least fifteen releases of And Then There Were None on DVD and one on Blu-ray from different distributors as can be seen in this listing from All Movie linked below.

Because it was produced by the "poverty row" studio PRC, which failed to renew its copyright, the film is now a public domain title. This explains why it is frequently run on late-night TV, and is available on home video from multiple distributors, often of very poor quality.
