Mashup hybrid of 2022 and 1977. I had a partial recording of Scandal (Steve Myers, Tom McCauley, Steve Larsen, Katie Hargreaves, Lauri Tellock, Peggy Hughes, Tom Watson and Richard Price - me) and so I added the front end and back end to the middle section from 1977. Enjoy!

Scandal was the last garage band in which I played. The band was put together by Steve Myers and it was a great group of musicians: Steve Myers (vocals, lead guitar), Richard Price (vocals, guitar, sax), Tom McCauley (vocals, bass), Steve Larson (vocals, keyboards, trumpet), Jim Watson (vocals, drums), Katie Hargreaves (vocals), Peggy Hughes (vocals), and Laurie Tellock (vocals). Memory Road was written in 1967 by Daryl Price and Richard Price (Daryl is my brother).

The 1970 LA Sessions were produced by Dick Rosmini while the band was living in Hollywood. "Here I Am" was the A side of a 45 rpm vanity record that we peddled to record companies as a demo. The B side was "From The Country."

Great song written by Emitt Rhodes (RIP) when he was only 16 years old! Originally released by his band The Merry-Go-Round in about 1967.

Always liked this Paul Revere & The Raiders song and never got to play it in any of my various garage bands. So I just played it all by myself. Kudos to Mark Lindsay and the gang - Where The Action Is!
