1988 Gomez Family Reunion. Anadarko, OK. Randlett Park.

It was 1987 on Gladys Drive, and a hive of bumble bees had made a home beneath our home. We spent an afternoon trying to force them to move, when one of them tried to extract revenge upon my mother. I was filming the entire time and fortunate to capture this outrageous moment in time.

Poems and stories by us...or most of us. I can't remember if all of our class participated. I'm not sure if I remember the teacher's name. Mrs. Harris?

I created a video slideshow of all of our yearbook pics and added the music popular at the time. This was made during our 25th anniversary. Now, our 30th is already here. :(

A relaxing time lapse video of a road trip from Choctaw to Anadarko OK. I don't miss making this trip twice a week for almost 6 years.

I believe this was 1989. The reunion was held in the St Patrick's Church all purpose building.

This song has always been a favorite of mine. I first watched the movie The Heavenly Kid in 1985 and consider it a top 10 of all-time. So my interest in video editing and the love for the song brought me to this. The daughter of a great friend and her boyfriend volunteered to be in it, not knowing how it would turn out. I only had a couple of hours to shoot the video and was a little bit unprepared when that day arrived. I was almost working off the cuff. But I love the video. I guess that's all that matters. haha

The year was 1988 and the family and friends made their way to Chickasha to skate together. I believe it was called OK Skate Land. We had a blast and gained a million memories.

The year was 2014. The Alamo seems to be shrinking. The Gomez/Vasquez clan is still there.
