Bowled 50 games with my high avg since I started right hand throw, right foot slide. the best I did when trowing right hand & sliding on the other left foot slide was a 221 avg in NO-TAP 50 game marathons with 7 NO-Tap 300 games. I think I should be able to bowl at least a 10% 300 game ratio: if I bowl 50 games then I should have at least five 300 games. I was not even coming close to that so I changed the thing I believe should help me to get that ratio I want!! including this video I have done 7 marathons of 50 games each sliding on my right foot & throwing with my right hand as the arrow shows on my JPG header page

The Right Sided domino strike

First No-Tap 300 with right foot slide & right hand throw. 8th 300 this summer 2023. the other seven 300's were right hand throw left foot slide. if you throw right hand with a straight ball you SHOULD also slide on your right foot BECAUSE then you use your front foot as the FIRST guide & you know were you are sliding. If you watch any bowler that slides on the opposite foot from the hand they use they also need to get there other leg & foot out of there way so you will always see them swinging that foot around to get it out of there way & to get hand position to rev the ball. this is another thing that I always thought was NOT a good idea because the more moves you make the more likelihood you will screw the shot up. as learning self defense (karate) the less moves the less chance to screw up. this also goes for your stance in that the wider the stance or about your shoulder with apart the more & stronger balance you will have.

Bowled 50 games with my 15th game a 300. avg over the 50 games = 203. since switching to right hand release & right foot slide it was my first NO-TAP 300 (NO-TAP means a 9 pin count is treated like a real 10 pin strike accept the X is Purple where as a real 10 pin strike is a white X. really you can play 8 pin NO-TAP & I would suggest for bowlers who want to practice on there strike ball to bowl in 8 pin NO-TAP until you have at least a 10% 300 game rate. if you bowl 10 games you should be able to have at least one 300 game in 8 pin NO-TAP mode. I have always bowled in 9 pin NO-TAP. I have yet to get a 10% 300 rate, maybe I should bowl in 8 pin NO-TAP mode. There's a GOOFY/CLOWN/employee at the bowling ally that works there he has like a 230 /240 avg ( he;s bowled real 300's & thinks all people should bowl in regular mode he says "its the only way to become good" heheheheheHA! that's why he works at the bowling alley he don't know JACK! heheheheHA! let me state right here ALL people not only bowl different they ALL learn better in ALL different ways. Also I want to state this: there is this bowler he has a high avg 240-250 & is 70 years old this year 2023 he said. his name in Norm Beam he said he's a Hall of Fame bowler, has 11 series of over 800 & countless 300 games, & was offered to be a pro-bowler many years ago but turned it down because his pears said he could not stand a chance against the other Pro-bowlers (I would LAUGH at any person that said something like that to me! even at my 65 years young age right now! Norm Bean DON'T know me. I saw him bowling & talked with him because I seen his scores in the news paper many times when he was younger. he's in the bowling hall of fame. I'd say over 6 foot tall but really heavy so he has weight issue. you can see him in my last video #156 or my 1,800 game video. he came over to my lane saw how I now throw the ball (I have been throwing it that way for 5 marathons at that time) I changed from the normal left foot slide to right foot slide, right hand release for WAY better control! Here's what the Hall of Famer said: everything I do bowling is the BOZO NEVER will work way of bowling. heheheheheHA! I just bowled a NO-Tap 300 game for my first time bowling that way! you can see it on this video. the REASON I change the way I bowl is SIMPLE if it consistently DON'T work for you THEN CHANGE it! NO MATTER WHAT a pro-bowler, Hall of FAMER says. seriously I bowled the way he wants me to bowl & the way bowling teachers WILL TEACH YOU for decades (IT DOES NOT WORK consistently for me) I know bowling & when & why you move around, use a 16 lb ball, rev the ball, speed MPH, etc. I had instructor bowling as a kid & when I was 20 going to KVCC bowling class! WHY release the ball right hand & slide on that same foot the right foot? its simple: I use that front sliding foot as my main guide. the other way or sliding on your left foot throwing right hand can NOT work as a guide again though it really don't matter when throwing a revving hook ball because ALL rolling on its side hook balls are LUCK balls because you count on many other things LIKE where the oil is, where the lane is dry, your ball being heavy, your hook ability, the ball used & LANE change ALL THE TIME = you are beting on your LUCK & knowledge of currant lane condition to ball using too lane changing to revs & speed forward it makes it so even lousy bowlers can get lucky BUT a straight ball has NONE of those factors involved: A straight ball is the most accurate ball that can be thrown its NEVER a LUCK ball its a VARY ACCURATE ball! case & point Packy Hanrahan PROVED this by bowling on stripped lanes (he stripped all lane oil off the lanes) he could NOT bowl worth a carp! because he could not rev the ball therefore he could not ark or hook the ball he was done bowling. the straight ball does NOT depend on oil or dryness period (have you seen me wipe my bowling balls EVER? hell NO its because there is NO need to wipe any oil off your ball at any time & a matter of fact I would LIKE to spray oil on my ball because it has ZERO effect on my bowling period! but would really screw up any hook ball bowler he would never know where to throw his ball heheheheHA! because if we bowl any amount of games & I am adding oil to my ball every time I am in effect crating an ice scatting rink for all hook bowlers meaning there will be NO place near the pins where it is not in heavy oil.

Bowled 50 games: right hand release, Right foot slide for my 3rd day. my Butt-ex was aching & I was stiff because of the 45 games I bowled on Tu then 55 games on W then the 50 games I bowled on Friday on this video that is. I bowled a 127 on league too! with a 439 series, my lowest series yet this league season, my avg was a 179 so now it will be much lower next Friday of course! I was really stiff & my butt muscles ached because I always used left foot slide with right hand release. to keep a 179 avg you should get at least 100 pins higher then a 439 series!!! I bowled 50 straight games before league then the 3 games on league. this is my 32 day of summer bowling. I avg a 192 in No-tap for the 50 games

I started to bowl with right side slide as I throw right side or right handed. it makes way more since to me. right throw to left side is a vary awkard thing to me! always has been! my 12th game was a 277 my high game BUT it was one of my best games I ever had because I had the perfect 10 strikes in a row & only 2 of them were purple NO-tap strikes. the best I ever trough before this game was a 300 NO-TAP game with only 3 NO-TAP strikes within the game

Since I should have at least a 10% of my games bowled in NO-TAP a 300 game. (if I bowl 50 games I should get FIVE 300 NO-tap games!! & I'm NOT close to that!) the best I ever did was two 300 NO-TAP games within 50 games!! the best I ever did in a NO-TAP (that's NO-Tap 9 pin is a strike) the best I ever did was only 3 NO-TAP strikes within the game! with the rest or 9 real strikes (that sucks) One thing of "normal" bowling I think is NOT right is the slide. in normal bowling they teach you to slide on the opposite hand's foot: if you throw right handed then you slide on your left foot??? why??? seems to me if you throw with your right hand you should ALSO slide on your right foot. the reason I believe this is because: when you use your opposite foot slide method you can NEVER use your foot as any type of guide. its really only for balance! why not throw & slide on the same side because then you can ALWAYS use your sliding foot as a guide??? I question everything! not just the PRO-BOWLERS but ALL the teachers of bowling!! (I have tried it a few times & you do use all different muscles then bowling the other way. it does take some use to getting use to & like straight ball bowling your reall on your own with both! but you have PRO-BOWLERS that have NO slide at all & a matter of fact they use tennis shoes to stop at time of there release with NO-SLIDE (if my same side as release slide don't get me at least a 10% NO-TAP 300 game rate I may try the NO slide method too!!! This really bugs me! in table tennis I was a MASTER & not many people could beat me. I ran the tables in school! I was one of the BEST table tennis players & got a 4.0 point in real tennis at KVCC!! I have the physical ability to do what I want in ANY sport & Bowling is by far the weakest sport as far as physical ability goes!! you pick up the ball, walk 15 feet & throw it whats yo KNOW!!! it can only be up to 16 lbs & it come back to you so where is there any type of physical ability that's my question. people with walkers & in wheelchairs enjoy bowling! people with sever mental illness enjoy bowling some can't even speak let alone walk. some are so over weight & way out of shape can bowl GREAT! bowling is by far the WEAKEST easiest sport ever! even in golf using a cart to go hole to hole you walk & swing more. all the clubs that you carry weigh as much as a 16lb ball does probably more. to get a hole in 1 is like bowling more then a couple hundred 300 games in bowling! I've been back bowling since May 13 2021 so 2 years now I'm NOT happy with my bowling ability & would NOT waste $10 on any tournament cuz I would LOSE any amount I paid! I hope changing sliding foot from opposite arm swing to SAME, SAME arm swing as bowling hand side helps me!! I mean I tried it 20 straight game before & I still sucked but I did get better within the 20 games. now I will try 50 straight games sliding & trowing same foot same arm so my foot I will use as my guide. slide next to the 20th FAT middle dot board & throw on the 18th board guided with my sliding foot. that I can NOT do when throwing right handed & sliding left footed!! I've always thought that was STUPID any how!

bowled 55 games with an AVG of 189. my second day of bowling right hand side throw & right side foot slide. Since I use totally different muscles switching from left foot slide & right hand throw my muscles on my other side of my body need to strengthen & my timing needs to get better also my approach needs to be way more smother but I think its for the better of things. I say since I bowl a LOT of games 50 plus in 4 hours of continuous bowling, bowling daily marathons I should be able to bowl at least a 10% of games bowled as 300 games because I even bowl in NO-TAP where 9 pins is a purple strike & real ten pin falls are white X strikes!! I got to say I did have one game my 12th games the first day I switched from left foot slide to right foot right throw slide. I mean it was only a 277 but I only had 2 purple NO-TAP strikes as all the other strikes were real 10 pin white X strikes. that was my first 45 game marathon bowling session. that game PROVED I am on the right track. I had 10 in a row in that game so switching foot slide in my opinion WAS the RIGHT thing for me to do! My arms, hands, Wrist & upper body have NO aches its all lower leg to Buttex that do ache. last 2 days I walk a little like an OLD man do to the aches but NO pain, NO gain as they say. its even worst after the second day of 55 games. BUT NO PAIN NO GAIN! I hope I will be able to bowl my 178 avg on league on 6-23-23??? really the only pain I've had to date was a little stff neck, a vary little tennis elbow twice & an ache in my shoulder but all vary minor aches. its the legs to Buttex that ache the most, well & a slight stiffness in the lower back! oh that's right the back of my sliding heel too. that did ache the most of all but it makes since because that's where all your weight is every single time you slide. 50 games could be 21 slides a game or up to over 1,000 body weight on your sliding back heel of your sliding foot, ouch!
