bowled 21 games in 2 hours with avg of 171. used two 12lb Gems & two mix by storm. Bowled wearing my tennis shoes with ZERO slide at the foul line. I throw right hand & have my right foot at the foul line as my front foot. NO tape on my thumb. I bowled bare hand with nothing on my hand. that's one arm/hand throw: For a str8 ball I use my thumb, for hook I don't use my thumb. using your thumb creates more end over end roll. a no thumb throw creates more on its side roll. To create the most on its side roll I throw with all finger life & around the ball for leverage. If I want less hook I throw more end over end roll verses side roll. if I want more hook I throw the ball more on its side roll then end over end.

Converted the 4-7-10 with the Exotic Gem on 9-10-23

The 5-7 split is why you need a 6lb ball: picking up the 5-7 split with the ball hitting the inside part of the 5 pin then the ball bull dosing the 7 pin down. the 6lb ball hits or takes out both the 5 then the 7 pin same with the 5-10 split. One of my 50 game marathons I did it 5 times this way & have done in league as well. on league I use a 12lb ball accept if I get the 5-7 or 5-10 then I sometimes use the 6lb mix by storm its a urathain ball. The ONLY reason I use Urathain is because polyester plastic balls brake up easy. NO bowling ball should ever be made of a VARY breakable plastic Polyester should have NEVER been used for bowling balls period because it creates a BIG problem: when it starts to shatter it continues to shatter around all holes in the ball. when it shatters it leaves small sharp pieces on the lane & in the pin area (EVERYWHERE) so then those pieces chip other balls: that is ALL other balls no matter what they are made of!

bowled 19 games in 2 hours with a 166 avg. since the brand of tape I was using kept coming off every 2 to 3rd game ( this is the only reason I did not bowl 20 games) I decided to bowl thumb-less. bowling thumb-less puts automatic HOOK on the ball so it increases my scores. I did NOT want to need to put hook on the ball because then you need to play the oil!!! it seems to me I am fighting an uphill battle trying to bowl straight ball for my strike ball. so I decided to go with the flow for a while & see if I can get a 200 avg or better?? all the other years of my bowling I could never get my avg above a 190 with a 686 as a high series on league bowling with a hook ball. that is why I decided to use the str8 ball instead & I could never get to a 190 avg. I'm a 170 or so avg with a str8 ball strike ball. I guess the reason ALL pro-bowlers use the hook is for the right angle most of the time & the fact you have a 4 times greater chance of striking using a hook ball over the straightest str8 ball. it because when using the hook ball the ball doesn't start hooking until end of oil that is 35 to 40 feet out from the foul line & that's 20 to 25 feet from the head pin when your ball hooks in that is about a 6 degree angle or the best angle that you can get where as the str8 ball can only get a 1.5 degree entry angle: THAT IS WHY ALL PRO-BOWLERS THROW a HOOK BALL & NOT a STR* ball.

19.7 games that's 197 frames bowled with a 157 avg with high game of 188 I bowl with NO slide with my tennis shoes on so I stop as I release. I throw right handed as I have my right foot at the foul line with NO slide. This is how I throw the straight ball: #1...I stand at the first set of dots closest to the foul line #2...I stand with the 30th dot board in the middle of my right front shoe about an inch behind the 30th dot board with knees bent with ball on my right knee (NOT up by my face or shoulders) with feet shoulder width apart (NOT together but in the praying mantis stance as in Okinawan Karate. it's the base stance for balance & strength) also why I do NOT slide. #3...with a 4 step approach to the foul line #4... looking at the 20th FAT dot board (not the pins or arrows) #5...releasing the ball at or on the 20th fat dot board #6... at the angle to the Brooklyn side or the left side of the head pin #7...with loft (not yet sure how much loft though) I'm thinking enough loft to see both my left side of the head pin & the ball where its lofted together in the same view. I guess you call it pin bowling? about as fast as I can throw it or around 16MPH. I am the Brooklyn Crusher!!

I used the 6lb mix bowling ball to convert the 1-2-4-10 twice: in the 7th & 9th frames in game 7. game 3 first frame for the 2-4-8-10
