My neighbours have a butterfly bush that hangs over my fence. It is a coming and going of butterflies, bees and bumblebees. It looks pretty good and doesn't take up any space in my garden.

My daughter looked after my dog when I had to go for a check-up in the hospital. She wasn't pleased.

Two females, one feeding the other. I know males do it when the female is brooding. I always thought these two didn't like each other very much. Apparently, I was wrong. Unless she's feeding her something lethal.

Just my dog enjoying herself.

20 years of looking at this tree and it's gone in a second. Sad!

They took their sweet time. It was going on for some time before I started filming. Pretty tense at the end. She tried to get him but he managed to get away!

The spider had caught the fly out of the air with a bit of string. Just hauled it up and started to build a web around it to keep it strung up, cocooning it at the same time. It had been going on for about 1.5 hours when I filmed this. It wasn't over by a long shot. It took at least another 30 minutes before it stopped struggling. Must've been a hell of a long time for the fly. I've never seen this before and always thought it would be rather quick. Definitely not! I always thought the buzzing sound was made by the wings, but they were pretty well wrapped up. At around the 3:48 mark, there's another spider strolling along in the bottom right.

A handful of dry ice, don't touch it with your bare hands, and some water.
