Faro goes on his first trail ride at 18 days old. I rode his big brother Chance and ponied their Momma Hopscotch along. It was a great family day for the baby.

2 week old colt Faro loves any attention he can get, but back scratched are the best.

Momma Scrabble (black Friesdale) and her daughter Ouija (Friesdale x Gyspy)love scratching each others backs. Scratch my back I'll scratch yours.

Foals have such long legs that it's hard for them to eat grass. Watch as 2-week-old Faro does his best. He is learning to put one leg back further!

Ouija loves drinking from the hose after a nice body hose down. I think she likes the feeling of it on her lips and gums...sure helps keep her teeth clean.

Faro loves the hose on a 90 degree day. He is 2 weeks old today and already knows that hose = cool down. Side note: the masks on the horses faces they can see through, they are made with a screen material that prevents biting flies and gnats from hurting and irritating horses, the horses know they help and love them.

You would think this Great Dane could kick the little guy's butt, but it looks like the little guy has the upper hand/paw here!

Faro is 6 days old here. He had a halter on for the first time, it didn't bother him at all...he was more concerned about getting his loving!

3 day old Faro is learning to run now and making his Momma dizzy with his circles.

Handsome is so funny when he does this dancing move on the couch. He knows it makes us laugh.

Faro is 3 days old and seems to like the hoody on him. Fly protection at it's best.

Faro is 2 days old and still learning to walk and run, he is adorable trying to run and then plowing into his Momma Hopscotch.

6 hours old and still wobbly but doing great. He is a little up on his pasterns but that will work itself out. Faro is Friesdale x Lusitano cross and Buckskin in color.

Friesdale x Lusitano buckskin colt was just born 6 hours ago and is still a little off balance. He is a little up in his pasterns now, but that will work itself out. He is a complete sweetheart and already loves people and ignores the dogs.

Chance loves his butt rubs, you can tell by his funny facial expressions.

Handsome is so patient, he waits for Frisbee to get his drink first, even if Frisbee can't reach the faucet.

We put out grape jelly every year for the Orioles and they come in droves. This video shows only 3 but we had 6 on there earlier. Gorgeous birds

This is a story of the Great Dane who always dreamed of being a cattle dog. The Dane, called Elliot, had all it took to be Great in keeping cattle at bay: high-energy, working ethics, high level of devotion to his owner and family i.e. management, was good to work both in a team and take responsibility and take proactive decisions as an individual. However, our Dane, as all the great stories of success and achievement go, was not born in the right bloodline. Eliot was intended to be primarily family pet and, despite his size, he was to live on the farm without being given extraordinary duties, except providing an occasional deep-throated <a href="https://rumble.com/v32dln-my-dog-hates-the-mail-man.html" target="_blank">bark</a> to help guard the property against robbers. This did not discourage Eliot from working on fulfilling his lifelong dream. He was always a good dog patiently waiting for his chance. And the chance finally came. He was observing them from the distance and, although they were having such a good time, he knew he had to pull them out to safety. Elliot hated when people and animals went into the water because he was secretly afraid of it. He went on telling, warning the horses to stay away, but they just would not listen! Despite his fear, Eliot knew that now was the perfect time to show his cattle management skills and fulfill his dream. Watch him go!

I give all 4 a bath, the two black Momma's don't roll but their kids decided that with their white and grey colors they better roll, why stay clean?? Looks like bath time again.

It's dinner time and these playful horses are either very excited to be fed or extremely mad that it was late. Either way, they look beautiful!

These Friesdale horses are so curious, put anything in front of them and they will play with it, including the ATV. Forget fearing tarps, these horses tear them up.

Frisbee loves his moving bed....but once he loses his tennis ball he's done!

Frisbee likes sucking on his Funny Bunnies ear, just the right ear. It's very cute to watch
