On Monday, Joe Biden’s State Department spokesman attempted to explain that his administration agrees that the Chinese Communist Party used to be engaged in genocide against Uyghur Muslims and other ethnic minorities. But it isn’t saying whether the CCP is still doing so. Now, there’s no evidence that anything has changed in western China. Scores of concentration camps still operate there. Women are still being subjected to serial rape and involuntary abortions and sterilizations. And slave labor factories still manufacture goods for American companies and markets. The only change is that, after the President spoke for two hours to the man responsible for this genocide, China’s dictator Xi Jinping, Mr. Biden seemed to excuse Xi’s crime against humanity because China just has different “cultural norms.” Sort of like Joe Biden used to be President, but it’s not clear whether he still is. A former leader of the Tea Party movement and legislator uniquely knowledgeable about U.S. fiscal policy and taxation issued a sobering warning yesterday on Steve Bannon’s War Room Pandemic program. President Biden’s new, multi-trillion dollar infrastructure initiative proves a shocking reality: We’re in the midst of a Marxist takeover of America. Through what’s billed as a visionary upgrade of the nation’s crumbling infrastructure, the Biden-Harris team seeks to impose its radical climate change agenda, a fundamental transformation of our energy sector and the effective institution of government-directed, centrally planned economics. As Saul Alinsky prescribed, Washington’s Marxists are simultaneously working to dismantle other fundamentals of our constitutional Republic, as well – from precluding future free and fair elections, to denying freedom of speech and religion to ending gun rights. President Biden just doubled down on the wrecking operation he is conducting against the U.S. military. Troops suspected of alignment with President Trump, conservative values or other so-called “extremism” are being subjected to investigations and purges. And yesterday, transgender individuals were cleared to serve in uniform and have taxpayers fund their expensive sex-change operations. Readiness is being eroded, as is morale. Ominous storm clouds are unmistakably gathering in the western Pacific. The latest mass murder in Boulder rebuts a number of the nostrums of the day, rather than affirms them. First, the gunman appears to be a jihadist, not a white supremacist. While the shooter, Ahmad al-Issa, had reportedly been identified by the FBI as a potential threat, sadly he didn’t fit the profile of the purported “domestic terrorists” and “violent extremists” with whom the bureau is evidently preoccupied, namely Caucasian Trump-supporters. If, as some insist, the shooting was racially motivated, it doesn’t jive with the dominant narrative of the moment, either. While likely simply a product of jihadism, if racism prompted the murder of ten white victims presumably it’s been encouraged by incessant denunciations of whites and their so-called “privilege.” Equally counterfactual is the idea that disarming law-abiding citizens would prevent such criminal conduct. Joe Biden couldn’t remember yesterday the name of his Secretary of Defense, or even that of the Pentagon in which he works. This is, unfortunately, not an isolated “senior moment” of forgetfulness. Joe Biden’s first presidential press conference yesterday prompted a troubling question, albeit one not asked by a palpably controlled White House press corps: Namely, who’s actually in charge? The U.S. Senate will soon consider S.1, a bill that would impose, nationally and permanently, voting arrangements proven to facilitate electoral fraud. Officially known as the “For the People Act,” this fatally flawed legislation has earned a new nickname: “The Corrupt Politicians Act.” Your Senators should feel duty-bound to oppose this egregious bill by the oath they swore to protect and defend the Constitution. But here’s another, perhaps more compelling, consideration: Recent opinion surveys indicate that the damage S.1 would do to electoral integrity is overwhelmingly opposed by the American people. For example, this legislation would prohibit every state from employing a widely practiced election integrity precaution, namely, requiring voter identification to cast a ballot. A new Polling Company poll found that seventy-seven percent of respondents – with majorities in every demographic subgroup – quite sensibly reject this idea. So must their Senators. Moves to limit or abandon a mechanism for ensuring the U.S. Senate’s minority party can shape legislation have long been known as “the nuclear option.” That’s because the legislative filibuster keeps Congress’ upper chamber from operating like the House of Representatives, where a simple majority governs, and its demise would figuratively “blow up” the Senate as we have known it. Yesterday, amid signs that the Senate’s slimmest possible majority is poised to end or create exceptions to the legislative filibuster, Republican leader Mitch McConnell unveiled what might be called a “nuclear deterrent”: the threat to use procedural measures to slow the chamber’s business to a crawl. He calls it a “scorched-earth Senate.” Immediately at issue is S.1, legislation that would preclude free and fair elections in this country. Let us pray that Sen. McConnell succeeds in deterring its party-line enactment. This is Frank Gaffney.

It’s becoming conventional wisdom that the Biden-Harris administration and its radical leftist congressional allies are alarmingly overreaching. Consequently, Republicans assure us that they will win the 2022 elections and quickly reverse the outrages swiftly being put into place by the current, slender Democratic majority. Joe Biden will tell fellow globalists today that “America is back.” His Munich security conference audience will interpret, and welcome, that as code for repudiating the policies Donald Trump called “America First.” Instead, we’ll be “back” to the approach Barack Obama called “leading from behind.” Call it “the Great Reset.” That’s actually the name of an initiative being promoted by an ominous alliance made up of World Economic Forum capitalists, European Union transnationalists and anti-American dictators like Russia’s Vladimir Putin and China’s Xi Jinping. Former Trump strategist Steve Bannon’s popular TV program, War Room Pandemic, has an engaging theme song. Its refrain is “Let’s take down the CCP.” The Chinese Communist Party has a variation on that tagline – “Let’s take down the USA.” Unfortunately, the CCP’s version isn’t just a catchy jingle. It’s a strategic policy, one that is now well-advanced. The Chinese Communists say they’re in a “People’s War” with us. They’re using “unrestricted warfare” techniques that have already done incalculable damage to our country’s economy, public health, culture and national security. There is, moreover, evidence that the CCP intervened directly in our 2020 election for the purpose of defeating a presidential candidate who recognized and was determined to counter the threat it poses. Matthew Pottinger served as the Deputy National Security Advisor to President Trump. A former China-based Wall Street Journal reporter turned Marine intelligence officer, he played an outsized role in Mr. Trump’s efforts to defeat the CCP virus and the regime that unleashed it on the world. On Sunday, Mr. Pottinger publicly shared lessons learned in the course of the Covid pandemic. His Marine’s after-action review showed millions of lives were needlessly lost thanks to Beijing: a) turning loose a deadly disease; b) refusing to acknowledge what happened; then, when reports nonetheless leaked out, c) diverting our therapeutic efforts by encouraging us to believe it was just a bad strain of flu, not a virulent coronavirus. Donald Trump’s defense gets its turn in his second Senate impeachment trial today. The former president’s lawyers are expected to focus on the unconstitutionality of the proceeding and the protections afforded by the First Amendment to free political speech. The rest of us should be focused on a subtext of the prosecution’s case that was directly acknowledged only at the end of its interminable, highly theatrical presentation. Rep. Ted Lieu of California actually declared that “National Guard troops in full body armor still patrol” Washington, D.C. because Mr. Trump refuses to say “the election was not stolen.” In other words, this impeachment is really about political warfare. Its purpose is: to suppress further inquiry into 2020 electoral grand larceny, enshrine the techniques used to accomplish it and destroy Donald Trump and anyone else who contends it occurred. There’s a discernable pattern emerging in the Biden presidency. For example, Mr. Biden legitimated the World Health Organization by reversing Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from an entity clearly in the Chinese Communist Party’s pocket. He also said federal employees can’t describe Covid-19 as “the China virus.” And, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg says there’s “an active conversation” about requiring passengers to demonstrate they’re not infected with that virus before undertaking domestic travel – a rule already imposed in the PRC. What’s next? Will we’ll be importing surveillance state systems Beijing uses to monitor and enforce such restrictions, blessed by its puppets at the WHO? The question occurs: Is this pattern symptomatic of a perilous “Biden China Syndrome,” meaning that we have a Commander-in-Chief who is deeply compromised by the Communist Chinese and determined to appease the CCP and otherwise conform to its dictates? It’s said that, “People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.” In the case of Joe Biden, the principle should apply as well to people who live in White Houses. President Biden says his predecessor should not have access to classified intelligence briefings, a courtesy normally extended to former Commanders-in-Chief. Mr. Biden’s stated justification is his fear that Donald Trump “might slip and say something.” If anyone should be denied access to classified information, it should be Joe Biden. He’s notoriously loose-lipped. He’s also been deeply compromised by our nation’s most dangerous adversary – the Chinese Communist Party. And President Biden has demonstrated utter contempt for the most basic of security concerns by reportedly consulting on China policy with his son, Hunter – a profound counter-intelligence risk given more than a billion dollars by CCP operatives. In Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial, the former President is not the only one in the dock. So are tens of millions of us if the House prosecutors can successfully implicate Mr. Trump’s supporters in his alleged seditious conspiracy. After all, the stated purpose of Democratic partisans is to prevent Donald Trump from regaining the presidency in 2024. Consequently, they will not only be vilifying him, but using every opportunity to marginalize and suppress like-minded Americans. Yesterday, President Joe Biden used a foreign policy address to insist that “America is back.” But back to what? Based on the contents of the rest of the speech and his performance to date the answer appears to be: Back to the failed Obama-Biden administration’s policies which made it better to be America’s enemy than its friend. For example, the speech was long on commitments to diplomacy redolent of Obama’s “lead from behind” approach to alliances and the prioritizing of issues like climate change and the “LGBTQI” agenda. Renewed appeasement of Iran was signaled by ending U.S. support for attacks on its proxies in Yemen. Lip service was paid to meeting “this new moment of advancing authoritarianism.” But Communist China was primarily portrayed as an economic “competitor,” not a comprehensive and mortal threat. On Sunday, CBS News’ “60 Minutes” program warned that the Chinese Communist Party is hoovering up our DNA and other personal medical data. By some estimates, eighty percent of us have already had such information ripped off by PRC companies that are obliged to share it with their government. China expert Gordon Chang warns that the CCP is pursuing biological techniques tailored to attack ethnic groups. The U.S. State Department says Beijing’s mass incarceration and oppression of Uyghur Muslims in western China amounts to genocide. The next step may be their mass extermination using genetically engineered viruses. In the early 2000s, moreover, China’s then-Defense Minister told party cadre that the CCP has a plan to depopulate the United States and colonize it with Han Chinese.
