Starting a new evolution in reloading. Reloading 308 as precise as I can for the upcoming BOOMERSHOOT! These 308 rounds are for a new shooter and friend we are taking this year.

100yds Test - 6.5 Creedmoor
Just confirming zero after a deep clean and some light maintance, that including removal of the optic. 100 yards, clear day, slight wind coming from the right. I pulled the last one.

Pulling 308
I messed up and forgot to reset my sizing die when loading these barrel break in rounds. The die was set up for a different, bolt action, rifle. These were meant for my friends new AR10, hence the less than ideal powder and crap bullets. Base to shoulder is too long.

3D Printed Case Feeder - Its a Physics Thing
For some reason, people cannot wrap their heads around simple physics. The headstamps have more brass than the case mouth, thus it is heavier. That heavy side falls down into the tubes.
This isn't perfect, and I do get upside down cases from time to time, but they are easy enough to correct once they hit the shell plate.

Reloading 40S&W - Loading Primers into Press
I use a Frankford Arsenal VibraPrime to load the primers into the press. It's much faster and easier on the hands than using the pickup tube supplied with the press. Enjoy.

Reloading 40 S&W - Separating Brass from the Chips
Stainless steel chips are awesome! But they do need to be separated from the brass. This is how I do it.
I do know that the lid has a drain, but I prefer to use the bottom to rinse the brass first. I use the "top" (with the drain) to clean and dry the chips later (not videoed)
This is a downloading (obviously) from tiktok.
Hope you enjoy.
