Safari Prep - Suppressed at Gunsite Academy
In September I worked with Gunsite Academy to develop a training course to specifically address what hunters heading out on safari need to know. This three day class is now a reality and will only be taught by Gunsite Academy instructors who have hunted in Africa. It’s scheduled for 13, 14, and 15 February 2024, right before safari season begins, and I’ll be there to lend a hand and share the things I’ve learned while hunting in Africa over the last two decades.
If you are headed to Africa soon, and especially if this will be your first safari, this is training you need. Too many times I’ve seen first timers in Africa fail to zero their rifle correctly, struggle with shooting sticks, not place shots correctly and follow through, and safely and efficiently manage their rifle while carrying it through the bush. But most importantly, they do not know how to properly interface and communicate with their professional hunters. This course will address all those things, plus hunting with a suppressor.

Buffalo Bore High Performance 308 Winchester Ammo
This video explores the performance of high performance Buffalo Bore 308 Winchester ammunition and how well it will perform in Scout Rifles. Jeff Cooper felt the benchmark for Scout Rifle performance was a 150-grain bullet at 2700 fps. Here you will see how close the Buffalo Bore 308 Winchester loads come to meeting that standard.

African Buffalo Hunt - DrillZ & SkillZ Give-A-Way
In March of 2023 I hunted buffalo with Tim Sundles of Buffalo Bore Ammunition on his fantastic and massive ranch in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. We took this nice bull during a thunder and lightning storm, and afterwards the bull’s three buddies came up the hill straight at us, which made for a few tense moments.
To help support Empty Cases’ move to Rumble after being kicked off YouTube, Tim Sundles agreed to help with the DrillZ & SkillZ give-a-way we’re having, and is donating a $200 gift certificate for Buffalo Bore Ammunition. All you need to do to qualify for a chance to win is visit www.empty-cases.com, scroll to the bottom of the home page, and subscribe. You can also qualify by giving us a follow here on Rumble.

Waldrop PackSeat (Review & Field Test)
My ass has an aversion to rocks, stumps, and logs. I always carry a seat with me when hunting but most budget hunting seats are not that comfortable and they make noise. The Waldrop PackSeat is the most comfortable hunting seat I've tried. It is also light and as still as a ghost. But what really separates this seat from other hunting seats is that this seat doubles as a pack frame. It is sturdy enough to allow you to pack out a complete deer. Two sizes are offered - one for deer hunting and one for turkey hunting. The deer hunting seat is high enough you can shoot a bow from it.

The Appalachian Scout Rifle
How about a takedown lever action rifle chambered for the 35 Remington that is set up to work with three different sights systems. This custom Marlin 336 was handcrafted by master gunsmith Jerry Dove of Dove Custom Guns in Princeton, WV. It is an ideal rifle for hunting anywhere in Appalachia and just about anywhere in North America. Loaded with Buffalo Bore's Heavy 35 Remington load - 220-grain bullet at 2200 fps - this is a solid big game rifle. Dove Custom can execute this conversion on your rifle or build from scratch. They also do take-down lever guns for other cartridges like the 30-30 Winchester and 45-70.
