This is a short video about some interesting bullets I had picked up some time ago. These were homemade 22 caliber hollow points using spent 22lr cases. These are probably from the 90's before there were a lot of 223 caliber bullet options. These were loaded in 222 Remington Magnum.

I spent part of the day at the Slab on the Llano River. First, I tried Creviceing and panning but must of the holes have been cleaned out. I will have to wait till there is another flood for them to be refilled. After panning for a while, I tried out metal detecting and found some coins then near the end dug up a beer can. When the can came out of the hole the glint of gold caught my eye and I found a 10kt gold snake ring thing.

I bought some of this Hercules 50lb fishing line. It seems to work well so far, I did notice it breaking pretty consistently at 30lbs or so at the Knot. The Knot is the weakest part of the fishing rig. I think that perhaps after it is used a bit and the line softens the knot strength my improve but I wanted to make this video to let every one know what my thoughts were with the line so far.

Taking apart and old Double Barreled Shotgun. This one is called "The Berkshire" This was a cheap "Hard Ware Store" gun from the early 1900. Some of these were sold through Sears and Roebuck. Probably between 1910 to 1920. Most likely this was produced by the Meriden Firearms Company and sold via Sears And Roebucks mail order catalog.
