Undersea volcanoes are vents or fissures on the Earth's surface through which magma can erupt. A large number of underwater volcanoes are located near tectonic areas of plate movement, known as mid-ocean ridges.

Sharks are a group of fish with complete cartilage skeletons, and sturdy bodies. They breathe using five to seven gill holes. The location of the gills is on the side, or starting slightly behind, the head.
