I show you how to make healthy homemade cream cheese from the yogurt i showed you how to make on another video. Or you can use store bough yogurt to make this cream cheese. I started with about 12 ounces of yogurt to make about 8 oz of cream cheese. You can start off with any amount of yogurt. You will just end up with a different amount than I did in this video. After so much research I think I finally found a Tasty but healthy donut recipe. My Recipe: 1 cup all-purpose flour 6 tbs sugar 1 tsp baking powder ¼ tsp Cinamon ½ cup greek yogurt ¼ cup milk ½ tsp salt (optional) 1 egg ½ tsp vanilla 1 tbs butter ¼ cup Strawberries 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease two donut baking pans with vegetable oil or spray. 2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, Cinamon, and salt until combined. Add in the buttermilk, vanilla, melted butter, egg, strawberries.. Mix with a spatula until everything is just combined. 3. Spoon the donut batter into a piping bag (no tip required) or a plastic bag with the corner cut off. Pipe the batter into each donut mold. 4. Bake your donuts for 10-15 minutes. They’ll be ready when an inserted toothpick comes out clean. When the donuts are cooked, take out of the oven and let cool in the tray for 5 minutes, then remove from the tray and let cool completely on a cooling rack. Glaze: ½ cup powdered sugar 1 tablespoon greek yogurt 1½ cups powdered sugar ½ cup finely chopped strawberries 5. As the donuts cool, place ½ cup of strawberries in a bowl and crush with a fork. Add 1½ cups powdered sugar and whisk until you have a thick glaze. Set aside. 6. Whisk together the other ½ cup of powdered sugar with greek yogurt until smooth. 7. Dip the donuts into the strawberry glaze. Turn over and place on a rack for 10 minutes or until the strawberry glaze sets. 8. Give the greek yogurt icing a stir, then drizzle it over the donuts with a spoon or an icing bag. Original Recipe: https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=C4B069... For the donuts: Prep: Preheat the oven to 180C / 350F / 160C fan forced. Spray a doughnut pan with oil spray. Have a piping bag at the ready. Dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt until thoroughly combined. Wet ingredients: Whisk together the buttermilk, egg, melted butter and vanilla until completely combined, then add to the dry ingredients and fold together with a spatula. Rub the oil around in the doughnut tin so each hole is nicely coated. Spoon the batter into your piping bag and pipe into the tin holes, to about 2/3 full. Dot the top of each of the donuts with the strawberry pieces. Bake for 12 minutes - a toothpick should come out clean. Allow them to cool for 5 minutes in the tin before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Then you can use the empty doughnut pan topipe and bake the last one. For the strawberry glaze: In a wide bowl, sift the icing sugar and freeze-dried strawberry powder. Heat the strawberries in the microwave for 30-40 seconds until they are warm and soft. Use a silicone spatula to push them through a sieve into the sugar mix. Make sure to scrape the puree from the bottom of the sieve too. Mix until combined. Top the doughnuts: Place your doughnuts, on a rack over a lined baking tray (to catch any drips). Dip the bases of the doughnuts (the other side to the strawberries) into the glaze, let a little drip off then turn them up the right way on the rack. Allow to set before serving

There are three ways of making this homemade yogurt. I am showing you the crock pot way. I do explain how you can also use a stove top or Instapot. What ever process you do the recipe is the same. You can adjust the amounts you will just have to experiment on the times to sterilize the milk at 200 degrees and then bring the milk down to 110 degrees. After a lot of research I finally found a great all purpose cleaner that works. I have tested it and it works great. Recipe: Natural All-Purpose Cleaner (That Works!) This natural cleaner is easy to put together and great for hard surfaces around the house. Prep Time 4minutes mins Total Time 4minutes mins Yield: 16 ounces Author: Katie Wells Equipment 16-oz glass spray bottle Materials 1 tsp borax 1 tsp Castile soap ½ tsp washing soda (not baking soda!) 4 drops lemon essential oil 4 drops lavender essential oil 10 drops orange essential oil 2 cups distilled water Instructions Place borax, washing soda, essential oils, and soap in a spray bottle (preferably glass). Add distilled water until the bottle is almost full. Be sure to leave room for the sprayer. Distilled water is best, but any water that has been boiled will work. Screw on the lid and shake well. Use as needed. I use it as a bathroom cleaner, floor pre-treater, kitchen cleaner, and on toys. Notes Store your cleaner away from direct light and heat. My husband and I are very picky about our ketchup and I found this recipe that tastes exactly like the name brand we like. So I created this video to show you how easy it is to make. Chemical free and better for you than the name brand. Ketchup ½ cup tomato paste no added salt ½ cup water 1 tbsp + 1tsp distilled white vinegar 1 tbsp maple syrup ½ tsp ground garlic powder ½ tsp ground onion powder ½ tsp salt Add all ingredients into a small pan and whisk all ingredients until smooth. When mixture starts to simmer/bubble around the edges continuously whisk for 5 min. Pour into a glass container and refrigerate overnight so the seasonings marinate together. Ketchup will keep 3 weeks in the fridge or 6 months in the freezer

I think I finally found an actual Laundry Detergent that you can use in H.E Washing Machines. All other recipes use bar soap and those leave residue and build up on your clothing. Those bar soap recipes were meant for old school wash board style laundry cleaning. This recipe does not have bar soap and will not build up on your clothes over time. This is good for 1 year. Homemade Laundry Detergent 4 cups distilled water 2/3 Cups Washing Soda (removes minerals that can make water hard. It has a higher ph of 11 and makes it a mild abrasive quality that helps to lift and remove dirt and grime) ¼ cup Sals Suds surfactant (Removing debris and contaminants from surfaces, Reducing the surface tension of water, allowing it to penetrate and lift away dirt and grime, Emulsifying oils and fats, making it easier to remove stubborn stains and messes) 1/4 cup Borax to half gallon 64 oz (softens water, helps stains, removes odor) Natural and non-toxic: Both borax and washing soda are natural and non-toxic, making them a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to harsh chemicals and synthetic detergents. Borax and washing soda have different pH levels and cleaning properties, which allows them to work together to create a more effective cleaning solution. Borax is a mild abrasive that can help remove tough stains, while washing soda is a strong alkaline that can help break down and remove dirt and grime.

This is the easiest least hands on recipe. There are three ways to render the beef suet and they are listed below. How to Render Beef Suet to Make Tallow Instructions Cut suet into 1-inch cubes and place into Dutch oven. Cover Dutch oven and place on the middle rack of an oven preheated to 225°F. After one hour, Stir the contents of the Dutch oven, and let the suet continue to render for a few hours more. Periodically, check on the progress of the rendering process. After five to six hours, the fat should be rendered into tallow. You will know that your suet has completely rendered into tallow when there is predominately a yellow liquid in the pan, and all that remains in terms of solids are brown bits ("cracklings") that have sunk to the bottom of the pan. Remove the Dutch oven from the oven. Strain the tallow from the contents of the Dutch oven using a fine-mesh strainer placed over a heatproof bowl. The strainer will catch the cracklings, which you can reserve to make bird seed suet. Decant the tallow into airtight quart-sized jars. You can leave one jar at room temperature that you can use for cooking. For long-term storage, you can refrigerate or freeze the second jar. If you freeze the tallow, make sure that you leave at least one inch of headspace in the jar to allow for expansion. At room temperature, the tallow will have a shelf life of at least one year. If refrigerated or frozen, the shelf life of the tallow will be extended significantly. For instructions on how to render suet or beef fat trimmings on the stovetop or in a slow cooker, see the "Recipe Notes" below. Notes Stovetop Instructions: If you want to render the suet on the stovetop, follow the basic instructions in the recipe. However, instead of placing the Dutch oven into the oven, put it on the stovetop. You will want to set your stovetop temperature to low and periodically stir the suet to make sure that it does not stick to the bottom of your pan. Suet will render much quicker on the stovetop, so watch it closely. It can be ready to strain in as little as 2 hours. Slow Cooker Instructions: If you want to render the suet in a slow cooker, follow the basic instructions in the recipe. However, instead of placing the fat into a Dutch oven, put it into the crock of your slow cooker. Place the lid on the slow cooker and set the cooking setting to Low. My grandkids wanted us to purchase the commercial foaming bath soaps. They are full of so many chemicals and didn't want to expose my grandkids to those chemicals. I did some research and I can't believe how easy they are to make. It took some trial and error on getting the food dye to work but in the end I got it. After a lot of research I found MANY ways that our grandparents were frugal to get thru the great depression. Instead of giving you a hundred tips I thought I would break them down into Categories so that we can look at each category to find ways of becoming more frugal. This way you are not overwhelmed and can start in small ways to get more frugal.

This is a little short on how to make sweetened coffee creamer at home. This way you don't have all the chemicals that the name brand uses (if you use all organic ingredients) and you don't have to go to the store to purchase it when you need it.
