As long as you keep your eyes on Jesus, you will be transformed, filled with God's Glory, and will be able to stay above the fray, even though you are in the midst of a horrendous spiritual battle. When you take your eyes off Jesus, the Glory of God will lift off from you, and you started to get overwhelmed and swallowed up by the darkness.

God wants his children to know that he has given them his power, and this is one of the reasons why has given them his Holy Spirit so that they can receive his power, and since he (God) is a King and his power is present wherever his word is given (Psalm 5:2, Ecclesiastes 8:4), and he upholds all things by the word of his power (Hebrews 1:3), he wants his children to rule, have dominion over everything he has created and also uphold all things according to his will, by the word of God backed up with his power.

Many with in the Body of Christ say they want God to show up, but when HE does, they discover its not what they thought it would be. I have discovered that most people can not handle it.

The Power of God is necessary to fulfil destiny. But the Glory of God achieves more results than the Power. It is one thing to see the Power of God, but it is another thing to see the Glory of God.

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Without the POWER of the Holy Ghost the church will never come any where near to God's will for His people!

When we use this term, we are talking about religious ideas, theology that is addictive and destructive to your spiritual growth in Christ!

*For instance we saw people mightily touched yesterday in our services. Last night in our sanctuary a Heavenly Divine fragrance saturated our service. Wave after wave with a slight wind. A first time visitor came to me after service stating: I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I have been to church service after service and have never experienced this before. He said the POWER of God was on him in such a mighty way, that he was still shaking from the inside out! He was probably in his sixty's! 1 Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

You can not walk in any Greater Authority and Power then you are submitted to authority. We must walk in the Mind, Will, Heart, Purpose, Plan, Nature, Character of Jesus Christ! The Bible promises, “By His mighty power at work within us [He] is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream” (Ephesians 3:20, Living Bible). If our hearts and motives are pure and we truly seek to do God’s will, then there is nothing too difficult for us as we depend on His strength.

Mountain Man at the door of Death, Supernaturally Healed & Restored Vicki and Linda, two sisters who attend the church I pastor, informed me that their father (in his late 70s) had suffered a terrible stroke. It was the Sunday before Thanksgiving, and they were attending our Sunday morning service. That is when I was informed that their father had a devastating and terrible stroke. The minute they told me, I knew in my heart that I had to get to the Chambers-burg Hospital to pray for him. I told them that as soon as I could, I would get up to the hospital, even today. GOD SUPERNATURALLY RAISED HIM UP!

In probably less than a minute as I was praying the nurse spoke up very excitedly and made this statement: She Has a Pulse! As I thought about this later it became obvious to me that this lady up to that moment had lost her pulse. I continue to pray softly, as I still had my right hand on her cheek very softly. The next thing I knew this lady who was laying on the floor began to stir, and she reached up her right hand and put it on my hand squeezing it. I knew in my heart that my job was done. The spirit of Christ had touched this precious lady, raising her from the dead. There were no fireworks, explosions, or loud shouting, but simply the gentle moving of the Spirit of Christ. The resurrection power of God manifested without people even realizing it.
