Wall Desk Build Part one
Hello everyone, this is Part 1 of 2 of my wall desk build. I originally had this idea for an area under a bulkhead in my basement. My wife found a desk similar to what I wanted on Pottery barn. However, its price was far outside what we could afford. This is my take on the Logan Desk.
This project will require a lot of straight cuts and breaking down plywood to the sizes you need.
You will need 6 sheets of 3/4 Poplar Plywood
2 sheets of Birch for desk top
2.5 sheets of 1/2 inches sanded plywood.
(12) 1x2x8 (Pine, Poplar, Maple, Red oak.)
(2)1x6x8 (Pine, Poplar, Maple, Red Oak.)

Tesla and Solar company comparison Nh Area
Here I compare the sales processes for
Tesla (Tesla.com)
Revision (Revisionenergy.com)
Wholesale Solar. (solarwholesale.com/)
I go over what I liked. What I didn't like and then discuss the company I do go with. I go over what I looked for in a solar system. A solar company and pricing which is huge. Most people going into a solar project seldom have solid numbers to look at which I feel can be a major roadblock when generating interest in these projects. I do hope the solar companies I had out for bid or were interested in can take some of the feedback here as I feel feedback can be crucial to helping a company grow.
Edit I state in the video that revision does not do ground solar arrays and this is incorrect. I was told when I asked that I could not do a ground solar array. Check with them to see if their business fits your needs for your solar project.
We did end up going with Tesla Energy. Formerly Solar City. If you are thinking of going solar yourself with Tesla please use my referral code for money off your solar project and to help the channel. You can also save on any Tesla product using my https://ts.la/joel82234 referral code.

Tool charging options in frunk
Lighting in bed and frunk with phone access
Robust rail system
No tapering of the bed. Must be as accessible as existing trucks.

Radon, radon mitigation and radon detection
Radon is a colorless odorless has that enters the home. It is found naturally everywhere. But when in a contained space it can become concentrated and dangerous. Any radon level above 4 will require mitigation. Mitigation is cost effective and works well at reducing radon levels in the home. If you have high radon levels and have a mitigation system. It is important to monitor these levels. This video goes over some of those products. Enjoy!

Detecting Leaks on Samsung Front load washer
I was not planning on making this video, but my washer was leaking today. I had some spare parts on hand made the repair and realized some people don’t know where to even start checking for leaks on a front load washer. I had already done the repair so unfortunately this is not a how to Video.
Tools recommended are Philips head screw driver, Large needle nose pliers. And a snake camera to check hoses for clogs.
Always remember before starting any work on an appliance that it is unplugged, has been allowed to discharge, and that you turn off your water.
Always remember that any project you do choose to tackle yourself is at your own risk. If the work being performed is outside your expertise or existing stock of tools and workspace. Hire a professional.

My review of Dr Energy Saver Silverglo
This is my reviews of the Dr. Energy Saver Silverglo product.
The sales process was simple and straightforward forward. The install went really well. It was installed over the course of 3 days and the company picked up after themselves. There were some areas I wanted them to come back out and address and they did so without issue and went above and beyond. I had a total of 6 different companies come out to give me bids. Dr Energy saver was the only one who had different options than just picking between a blow in fiberglass or cellulose.
I had a positive experience and hope that down the road you take a look at Dr. Energy saver for your homes energy saving needs.

Smart Oil Gauge App Review
I have been trying to make this video since I got the new device and for some reason. Apple Imovie does not work well with its own screen recording app. So I did have to export the video to adobe premiere pro and the audio is weird in some places and had a 20 second gap before the audio started. Anyways! I am working on increasing the quality of my videos. So I do apologize for some of the audio issues.
Anyways, this is the review and experience I have had with the smart Oil Gauge by connected consumer.

Is Tesla maintaining a reputable business?
First and foremost I want to say that I love Tesla or was a huge fanboy. I go over in the video as to why. However, After some shady dealings personally and things that I have noticed on other channels reporting issues and essentially dealing with really rude staff and being mislead in my opinion to secure a sale from me. I advise caution when dealing with the company. I do hope this feedback helps Tesla improve the customer experience and remain competitive in what is becoming a highly sought after product and competitive market.

EGO Snow Blower round 2
After getting feedback on my last video. I decided to make another as some of the questions raised I had myself. This video has also been minimally edited or sped up so you can see in Realtime how the Ego functions. This was a light fluffy snow. About 7 inches and then at the end of the driveway it was around 11-12 inches. More so towards my mailbox.
I have to say being a Honda owner for many years now as well as having a now blower over 25 years old. I still love Honda. They just work! You can’t kill the motors in them. However after 25 years the maintenance on it became extensive. Every year we were spending 5-800 dollars on replacing something. This year the Auger went and it was 1200 just for parts. I do plan on keeping and fixing it.
But the fact an electric can hold up to its performance. The EGO SNT 2400 ran way better than expected. While a battery overheat was disappointing at first. The fact someone was able to advise me that there was a better way to run the machine. Only to find that not only were they right. But I was able to do an 8 car driveway on one charge and then some.
EGO has been a batch of products that I now hope to make part of a regular line up. The fact that I have a Tesla battery back up to power them. In a storm I won’t have to weight whether I will use the gas I have to clear the snow in case of emergency or run a generator. Which I barely even need now.
It looks like the future is electric and I no longer think that’s a bad thing. I hope the electric battery’s as well as electronic components hold up to the test of time.

Ego 24 inch Snow Blower review
It finally snowed here in New Hampshire. Here is first person view of me clearing snow. I tried getting shots of throw distance, end of driveway removal after plows went by and removed about 20 feet of snow on either side of my driveway on the road. This means less cleanup when the plow comes by a second time and less snow for my mail man to access the mail box. We were dealing with about 6-8 inches of snow and the snow was wet and heavy. It should be noted I wanted to put this snow blower through its paces. So I ran this on turn the whole time. More videos of this snow blower in other settings to come.
Note: Please ignore the time stamp on my camera. I had no idea it was on and the date is incorrect.

EMP Shield Solar Edge inverter install
Here I install a EMP shield to my solar inverter from Solar Edge. Before ordering your EMP Shield I suggest calling them so they can get you the right product for your system. I have been dealing with Ben and he has been very helpful. I am not affiliated with EMP Shield so all of these products I install and review independently. Next will be the vehicle install of EMP Shield. EMP Shield and Tesla have stated adding a device like this will not void any warranty's. However, you should call your solar company to verify these statements.

EMP Shield Panel install and review.
In this video I give my thoughts on and install the EMP Shield, made by EMP Shield right here in the USA. This device is rated to protect your home from a single Lightning strike. The lightning strike will destroy the device and can be replaced for 50 dollars. This is also rated for a coronal mass ejection and an types E1, E2, and E3 level EMPs. They have exceeded military standards and are listed by homeland security as a company for EMP defense. I wasn't too sure about this tech until I saw a report stating the DoD had received a threat from a foreign power that they would hit us with an EMP. After a threat assessment and coverage by some mainstream media sources I decided to look into the tech and made the decision to get it installed.

RGB Thin Line Epoxy Flag Preview
his is a preview to my upcoming project for a thin line flag. The song in the video helped me come up with the idea. The flag uses a white epoxy strip to connect two separate pieces of the flag and RGB Lighting to illuminate the flag to the desired color. It covers Police, Fire, Military, EMS, Doctors, Nursing, Dispatchers, Search and Rescue and more! A how to video is being edited right now where I walk you through how to make the flag. This project was a labor of love, learning and figuring out how to work with epoxy. If you could like, share and subscribe it would be greatly appreciated and makes future project like this possible!

Insualting behind Window Trim
This is the same video for foaming around window trim. However, I noticed that my editing program cut off 15 seconds on videos i tried to speed up to 105%. This helps shorten video length. Also there were parts around the base of the window where the audio was sped up and shouldn't have been.
This video will show you how to insulate behind drafty window trim by removing the trim and old insulation and using canned foam to stop air flow as well as add some R value. Then just pop the trim back up and add some caulking and you're good to go.
For any foam projects be sure you are using the correct foam. For window and door projects look for low expansion foam.
Be sure to remove as much insulation around the top and sides of windows for the base you will typically be filling a small area around there the window is shimmed.
In this case the window had a large gap between the rough opening and we were able to foam that.
