I was having so much fun with the bee paper strip backgrounds. My inspiration were the bees and my yearning for spring to come. In this video I show you how to make cute bees without a die cut and how to draw Winnie-the-Pooh, and a honey pot. My goal with this project was to use up my paper scraps. Oh the things you can do with scraps of paper.

There is no better item than the sewing machine to represent women and the triumphs and challenges of women's role in society. I have multiple vintage sewing machines including a treadle machine, a Singer with knee pedal as well as other vintage machines with foot pedals. We are currently working to restore them. In researching about how to restore them I have become fascinated with the history of sewing machines and have learned how much it has changed our society and brought about new industries. I am working on a special video to cover all that COMING SOON.

I sat down looking through my yarns trying to decide which color I had enough of for my next knitting project then my cat decides she wants to knit herself a sweater. Everything she sees me do she wants to get into it too.

The day has come. I took Barbie and Ken to the church to get ready for the big day. They are actually a display for the Ladies Conference this weekend at our church. Our theme is The Bride of Christ with wedding decor. My task was make a center display for the main auditorium.

After two days I removed my homemade curlers from Barbie's hair. I am getting Barbie ready for her wedding day. Next I need to make her veil and her bouquet.

I just can't see what attracts the cats to such an activity as this. Maybe I should try it out for myself.

This cat has a way of telling me what she wants and when she wants it. This toy is one of her favorite toys that we introduced to them on their first birthday. We always keep in a basket between our chairs and the cats know it.

This cat is bounding with energy as she plays with her three sabers (Styrofoam cylinders). When the Leo the old cat passes by he is uncertain if he wants to be in the vicinity of this lively fem feline.

I went thrifting yesterday and picked up some items that came in this basket. Not having a plan for the basket I decided to test how long it would take for one of the cats to get into the basket. Here is that experiment.

It is an every day occurrence to see these two cats snuggled up somewhere. Leonardo is an older cat and a docile cat but he doesn't mind snuggling with the young female. He does not have the energy to play as wild as she and her sister does. That is when he complains when the young female try to get him to play with him. I often will set out new boxes just for the cats and as predictable the cats are they love to get in the box. One of the young females is very vocal. She talks to me and answers me. She is the playful one and the last to get in the box.
