Now that I have a bred Basilosaurus and a Megalodon pack, I need to do a bit of leveling on the way to the cave that holds the Artifact of the Brute.

Now that I have my shark pack for protection, it's time to go out and tame a Basilosaurus. Right beside the only high level one on the map is an alpha Tusoteuthis. How well will my shark pack do against an alpha Tuso?

The Ark gods have finally blessed the island with a decent Yutyrannus so I go out to tame it. Because of the fear roar, it's not as simple as dragging it into a trap with another dino. It best done on foot. Couple that with it's carno allies and the general hostilities of the north, it's a bit of a nerve wracking endeavor.

While doing some off camera grinding I stumbled upon a max level Rex on carno island. While I tried to set up a trap to tame the rex, it was having none of that. I had to resort to taming it on the back of my Thyla. Also an Alpha carno was wandering around the tames looking for trouble to get into.

Still on my caving bug, I got back and get a few more artifacts of the Massive and Devourer so we can farm the Broodmother and Megapithecus a bit more as well as get the HLNA notes I missed.

As I start to combine my Megalodon stats into a breeding pair, I go out to tackle the central cave and get the Artifact of the Clever.

I go out to tame the max level Megalodon that the Ark gods spawned back up north. Will the rng gods be a generous with the tamed stats. Along the way I rescue a newly spawned high level otter from a spino. It's time to get a breeding pair of otters together just in case bad things happen to me.

I head out again to tame two more Megalodon. Since Duke ate some of my kibble during the last taming run, I need to still go out and get that one female Megalodon. The Ark Gods also decided to smile on my and spawned another high level Megalodon.

It's time to get my water tames started. First step - Megalodons.

I need a female Megatherium to start my Megatherium breeding so I go out to tame one. Ark, however Ark decided to not make it that easy. Along the way I decide to do a midnight metal run at the top of the volcano.

Some off camera grinding to get Ark to spawn more Megatheriums finally yielded one. I go into the mountains in the north to tame another Megatherium.

No high level dinos have spawned so I rinse and continue my trek through the north trying to get high level Yutyrannuses and Megatheriums to spawn.
