It was Murren that the Kandahar Ski Club was founded in 1924; it was to lead to the famous Arlberg-Kandahar competition, which is now regarded as the unofficial world championship of the Alpine countries.

Watch a Train Run Through Thailand’s Most Dangerous Market
We know that, at least at first glance, many markets in Thailand look the same. But one that definitely stands out is the Maeklong Railway Market. Why? Because it has a train running through the middle of it several times a day. Right down the middle and close enough to touch. Only in Thailand!
A charming little warning bell goes off over the speaker system just a few minutes before the train comes. Within a few minutes of receiving the warning, vendors pull back their specially designed awnings before the train comes, sometimes only moments before. That’s why the market is locally known as the Talat Rom Hoop (ตลาดร่มหุบ) which translates into “Market Umbrella Close.” The train’s fog horn announces its arrival just before it rounds the bend. Now that’s a sound you can’t ignore. The coolest thing about this market is that it adjusts itself and perfectly encapsulates the train as it rolls through. The awnings are pulled back only as far as necessary. The baskets of fruits and vegetables are shifted just enough as to not be sliced by the metal wheels. The train passes by with about a foot to spare, both beneath and to the sides of the carts. Visitors and vendors stand daringly close. At least, closer than to any moving train, metro, or subway we’ve ever been around. Once the train passed, the vendors immediately, and quite nonchalantly we might add, put the awnings back into their original places. Everyone went back to normal as if nothing extraordinary had ever happened and it’s hard to believe that tons of metal just rumbled its way through.

GRINDELWALD TO FIRST - SWITZERLAND
Air, nothing but air – above, below, to the right and left: Being on the First Flieger is easy, freedom is limitless and the pace is high. Perfectly secured in the stable harness, up to four persons whiz along the 800 metre long steel cable from First to Schreckfeld at a top speed of 84 kilometres per hour. In some places, they hover approximately 50 metres above the alpine meadows. Fully airborne.
Grindelwald is a village and municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Berne in Switzerland. In addition to the village of Grindelwald, the municipality also includes the settlements of Alpiglen, Burglauenen, Grund, Itramen, Mühlebach, Schwendi, Tschingelberg and Wargistal.
The Eiger village of Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland lies embedded in a welcoming and green hollow, surrounded by a commanding mountainscape with the Eiger north face and the Wetterhorn. This mountainscape and the numerous lookout points and activities make Grindelwald one of the most popular and cosmopolitan holiday and excursion destinations in Switzerland, and the largest ski resort in the Jungfrau region.

Real brave woman not easy to do that excellent
A Bow Vally Classic for hikers and climbers. Its sheer 500' face can be seen from the TransCanada and the peak is often in the clouds. It gets an A for accessability. There are many routes for both up this limestone mountain to the 2240m summit. Even hikers (who can do a 900m elevation change in 4.5-6km) can make it to the summit without special equipment. The first 3km is through mixed forest with a wide variety of wild life and birds to see. Above the trees is a fair amount of skree and careful footing is required. A loop can be made around the mountain and if so, do it CCW. To make the loop (or get to the summit from the E), there is a narrow ledge 30m long that must be traversed about 300m from the summit. There is a cable to hang on to but it isn't for the faint of heart as you can see in the picture.
The summit was fantastic and the way down was difficult in a different way. Lots of loose scree on a narrow path, PLEASE make sure to bring good hiking shoes and trekking poles. The screen run down the side of the mountain was a fun experience as well!

"When the customer says make it with love... You got it"
Life as a professional cook isn’t easy, in fact — it’s damn hard. I take comfort in knowing the chefs that have trailblazed the way for the current generations have had to deal with the same challenges and struggles that we all do as professional cooks. Hopefully, next time the boss chews you out, the line gets crushed beyond belief on a Tuesday night, or your significant other grows frustrated with your career and the crazy hours — maybe you can turn to these quotes from some of these best. They’ve helped me on the rough days, while pushing me harder on the good days. I hope the same goes for you.
When you acknowledge, as you must, that there is no such thing as perfect food, only the idea of it, then the real purpose of striving toward perfection becomes clear: to make people happy, that is what cooking is all about.
There are many times in my life, when I could've thrown in the towel. Many times in my life when I was on the floor. And when you're on the floor, never allow anybody to pick you up. It doesn't matter how long you stay there, make sure you pick yourself up and dust yourself down. Whatever happens, whether you go home today or you don't go home today, that's irrelevant. What's relevant, is you take the knowledge from the experience and you grow as a person.
Life is always not easy, to make your customer satisfy of what you cook, you need to have passion on your job, customer will absorb of your meticulousness when feel happy to enjoy your food.

Incredible Scenery In Coron Palawan, Philippines 🇵🇭
This spectacular view in Coron Palawan. The islands commonly know as Coron are some of our favorite places in the whole world. The more we travel the more we look back at the time we spent here and realize how special this place is. Coron, Palawan is home to a number of unique and breathtaking sights. What this cluster of islands has become most well known for is the handful of WWII shipwrecks that are permanently entombed off the shores of Coron. Above the surface, Coron is just as majestic and is home to one of the most photographed spots in all of the Philippines. Here is everything you need to know before planning a trip to Coron Palawan in the remote corner of the Philippines. There are technically two Coron Philippines, one is actually the name of the largest town on Busuanga island and another Coron is a smaller island 30-minutes offshore from Coron Town. Coron makes up the eastern half of Busuanga Island. Coron Town is a small fishing village with a population is just over 40,000 but is becoming more and more of a popular tourist destination. Coron is often listed as one of the top tourist places in the Philippines. The Palawan was recently named the most beautiful island in the world and we’d have to agree.
The diving in Coron could take weeks if you have the time or desire. For most, it’s the main draw to Coron, and the most popular sites are a fleet of sunken Japanese warships in 20-35 meters of water. The dive sites are about an hours boat ride from the port in Coron Town and it’s typical to do 2 tanks per day, and sometimes 3 depending on the dives. Prices in town are around 3000P for 2 tanks and 3500P for 3 tanks.
During the day get on a boat and get out of town, there are a handful of preset tours where you will join other travelers to see some of the top sites in the Palawan nearby, prices are from 650P to 1200P including lunch. Most tours return after 4 pm leaving you only to find dinner in town. Picky eaters beware we didn’t find any options for Hannah’s selective pallet. The few good ones we found are in the tips section.

Bees Use A Cracked Tire As Hive And Fill It With Honeycombs
This video will show you a sight that looks absolutely terrifying. Nobody wants to see the colony 'moved'; it should be met with fire and fury of which the world has never seen. A Houston-area bee removal expert shared his video showing how a heavy-duty tire on an abandoned trailer became home to thousands of honeybees. Brueggan discovered the bees had used a cracked tire on the trailer, which had not seen use in years, as their hive. The bee colony set up a house and filled it with honeycombs. The bee expert said he had some trouble getting into the tire because of the steel belts in the rubber sidewall, but he was able to cut a large enough window to allow him to work.
Brueggan used a bee-repelling substance to drive the insects out of the tire and into a box. The speaker of the video says that the owner of the trailer informed him that the bees had been in and out of this tire for several years now. However, the time finally came when the owner needs to get this trailer moved. He did not want to move the colony of bees and disturb their habitat and environment, but he no longer had a choice. This is what prompted him to call in the experts. Trying to move a colony like this one can be unbelievably dangerous to the untrained person. Experts should always be called in for situations like this one. That will ensure the safety of the colony of bees, but it will also ensure the safety of the humans as well.
The expert explains that he has never had to deal with an issue like this one before. He says that he has never cut into a tire before, and he did not get much help from online sources. He brought several different weapons, and he is just planning to play it by ear. He observes that the bees are extremely active, and this makes the situation a bit more dangerous. He finally gets a chunk of the tire cut out. This allows us to see the magnitude of this situation. There are seemingly thousands of bees inside this tire. The honeycombs they have made are quite beautiful.
The tire that the expert is trying to cut through has steel bands running through it. Most tires do not contain these steel bands because they do not need the added strength that the bands give. These bands make this tire insanely hard to cut through. The speaker says that he has brought his chainsaw to try to get through the thick exterior of the tire. He cannot use a simple utility knife to cut the tire. The bees begin to move to the box he has placed on top of it. The bees are flying all around moving from place to place. The expert is looking for the queen of the colony. He finally finds the queen and contains her in a cage. He directed the colony to the box so that they can be safely removed.

This fountain is incredible
It's peaceful having waterfall hair. Architecture is one fascinating genre of art. True architecture geeks can spend hours commenting on unusual buildings, amazing bridges and jaw-dropping sculptures, on the styles they represent and the historic periods they came from. Among all the other architectural wonders that are out there to admire, we at Bright Side got really interested in fountains. It’s certainly true what they say — ‘You can watch how fire burns and how water falls endlessly.’
