Diesel Drip is cheaper than water as a Sawmill blade Lube
Diesel Drip as a sawmill blade lube. Lubricating your bandsaw blade with diesel fuel is cheaper than using water as a blade lube. If you are sawmilling as a hobby then this may not apply to you. If you are doing this for money then diesel drip is the way to go. None of the myths against diesel (that i have hear) hold water, see what i did there ? lol # 1 "diesel wears you belts out faster," the belts are "wear items" and should be replaced regularly anyway, plus if your belts are getting gummed up with water they will get hot and wear a lot faster, a hot blade will also melt your belts, diesel drip keeps the blade cool. #2 "diesel is bad for the environment" diesel drip at one drip every second or every two seconds, will be carried away in your sawdust and evaporate very quickly, what ever is left will be less then what you spill when you fill up your lawn mower every week. #3 "in the winter i use washer fluid" washer fluid is a stream not a drip that is very expensive and have you ever read the MSDS on washer fluid ? #4 "Wood Mizer dose not recommend it" wood mizer sells a product to lube your blade for $15 a gallon, why would they recommend diesel? . #6 it is expensive $5.00 per gallon, will i just busted that myth. Good luck have fun and "Keep making Man Glitter"

Stacking lumber 8x8 red oak beams compleates customers order
I just wanted to get on video the before shots of this log jam, it is not a beaver damn, however beavers did cause this tree to fall into the ditch. The creek is named beaver creek for a reason. lol
We are just having fun and going to see what damage 1 pound of Tannerite will cause to this log jam when we blow it up.

Cutting Red Oak 2x4 on Wood Mizer Sawmill "nominal" lumber 2x4's
Wood Mizer LT 35 turns these red oak logs to lumber. This log is not a red oak log you would buy from a logger. This is a blow down, It was laying down on the ground in someone's woods. This log has some stress in it, and it has a large taper from big end to small end. It is perfect for me to make some 2x4's out of.

Rough cut pine 2 inch sawmill lumber AND tilling flower beds at same time
I cut, hauled, stacked and stickered this 2 inch pine lumber from my sawmill. At the SAME time i was doing that, I also tilled up some flower beds for the wife to plant flowers. If women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy! Red Green.

Resaw Attachment Wood Mizer LT35 bandsaw sawmill cutting first red oak 14 inch board
Resaw attachment on the sawmill. The Wood Mizer LT portable bandsaw mill with the resaw attachment of the first time. I installed the resaw in the last video and this is the first board, Red oak 14" wide by 11' long. All through the video i keep saying i am trying to get a 3/4 inch board and that is WRONG, I am trying to get 2 boards that are 3/8 inch thick. This blade was very dull, I had just sawn a bunch of dirty, snow covered oak logs for firewood and I should have changed the Blade. Also this resaw is NOT a "one man" operation. I really need two people to run this correctly. I also realize, Kiln dried red oak 14' wide is probably not what this Wood Mizer resaw attachment was designed to do. I was really just trying to make sure i got the FIRST board on film. I will say, I completed the order for 3/8 inch red oak and 3/8 inch kiln dried cherry boards. I did not get the complete order on camera, i just needed to get the order out, no time for filming. As always I hope you enjoy this video and I hope it helps someone out in some way. Re saw Attachment from Wood Mizer.

Walnut Root Ball on Wood Mizer LT35 HD Sawmill, Cut on Free Sawmill Weekend
Don't even say it, I know, I wish i would have gotten some close ups of the grain. This walnut root ball was sawn on "Free Sawmill Weekend" with the Woodmizer LT35 portable sawmill. This walnut root ball had been setting for 7 years and it traveled 4 hours to get to my sawmill shed. This was the first time for me ever sawing a walnut root ball. I was very pleased with what was inside. (sorry i did not get some close ups)
