Arguing With God, the Final Authority - Matthew 22
Matthew 22 is a mix of parables Jesus spoke against the Jews who rejected Him, the failed attempts of the Pharisees and Sadducees to trap Him, and some of Jesus’ strongest words of condemnation that He ever spoke while He walked the earth.
The most educated, religious and political leaders in Jerusalem were too proud to receive Jesus and in turn, rejected the God they professed to believe in. How different are things today?
Many people saw the miraculous things Jesus did and heard about countless more which were verified by eye-witnesses, but they were blinded from recognizing Him as the Messiah. What can we take away from Matthew 22?
Jesus first invited the Jews to repent and come to Him and when they ignored His call, He extended His offer to the Gentiles; a pattern the Apostle Paul followed and mentioned a few times in the book of Acts.
Though we’re all sinners in need of God’s grace and salvation, some will receive and believe Jesus and confess Him as Lord while others will ignore or reject Him.
Regarding the Church today, it is often religious leaders who twist God’s Word toward their own interpretation, add their own traditions, water down Scripture, or act self-righteously. Once a person goes down this road the result is often legalism or hypocrisy
The Apostle John said Jesus came to His own people but they did not recognize Him as God; He was with God in the beginning, the Word made flesh and lived among us (John 1). Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith; the only true, living GOD! In Colossians chapter 1, Jesus was before all things and by Him all things were created.

Contending for the Truth of the Gospel in a Culture Where Evil Is Called Good - David Fiorazo
We’re losing the battle for truth today. Many Christians say we’re living in the end times when darkness seems to be prevailing and evil is being called good. What should concern us as true believers is not necessarily the massive cultural shift in opinions about truth and morality, but the fact these views are more common among professing Christians and religious Americans.
We have strayed far from the truth of God’s Word and from moral absolutes. Just 54% of evangelicals believe it’s wrong to identify as a different gender; 35% of Muslims and only 26% of Catholics think it’s wrong – indicating a changing worldview in America that is becoming more and more secular. The poll reveals an increasing percentage of Americans no longer believe in right and wrong!
This means a majority of Americans now reject the fact that a Creator gave them a specific gender that cannot be changed. Too many people would rather believe skeptics, doubters, mockers, and their tedious claims about why they choose not to believe the convincing proofs in the Bible.
As the culture becomes more corrupt and the world moves further and further away from the God of all creation, Christians are faced with a dilemma. Evil is called good and good is called evil, and even those in the church are being duped into thinking there are no moral absolutes and God’s Word is not inerrant. We also live in a time when people are becoming more hostile to our faith – and expressions of that faith - as they fall for the lies of the enemy and rebel against God.
Let's reason from Scripture and examine some evidence: Eye Witness Testimony to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, tens of thousands of archaeological finds supporting biblical accounts; secular historians confirm, science, and Bible Prophecy all offer overwhelming evidence proving the truth of Christianity. Restoring Our Foundations: Individual, Church, National - Message by David Fiorazo
Our foundations are being chipped away! "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1) He gave us His moral laws and instructed His people to obey and teach their children His Word. Today, morality is decaying and culture is driving the church in America rather than the other way around. Why? Aren't Christians supposed to be a preserving influence on culture (salt) and point people to Jesus Christ for salvation (light) as we expose darkness?
America has over 300,000 churches, but few would contest that our Christian influence is decreasing as the nation becomes more secularized. Our biblical values are no longer being consistently demonstrated and promoted. We have forgotten our spiritual foundations and have been silent in the face of evil for decades.
We need to rebuild and restore our foundations on Truth.
"But each man must be careful how he builds on it. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11
"If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?” Psalm 11:3I
You and I are here for His purposes, and there is still time, but Jesus is knocking on the door of the church hoping to wake us up before it's too late.

The Cost of Our Silence by Author David Fiorazo: What's in it for you?
There are consequences when Christians take the path of least resistance. We're seeing those consequences in our culture today. Author David Fiorazo briefly describes the table of contents of his 2015 book, The Cost of Our Silence.
As Christians go so goes America, and the church seems more comfortable blending with the world than being set apart from it. To compound the problem, the epidemic of our apathy is spreading like a horrible disease. The truth is – silence never saved anybody.
In the last hundred years in America, we have not only opened the door to evil, we have invited evil in and justified it. Rather than resist the sin that had repulsed us and caused us deep remorse leading to repentance, we have warmed up to it. Meanwhile, Jesus Christ is standing outside knocking on the door of many lukewarm churches today, hoping we will welcome Him back in before it’s too late.
It is up to individual Christians to live our faith and speak the truth in love rather than be "professing" Christians who have backed out of culture and live just like the world.

Overcoming Apathy and Evil: Building our Faith - David Fiorazo 7/28/13
God is shaking up His Church and Jesus Christ is knocking at the door! God is warning us to understand the times and take our faith seriously. Rather than conforming to the world, we must be transformed by the Word of God. We must also overcome evil with good when we're tempted to get overwhelmed. Let's remember our mission and purpose! We are NOT secret agents, but ambassadors for Christ as though God were making His appeal through us. Be encouraged - Jesus is King of kings and Lord of all!
This sermon is from July 28, 2013 at Covenant Church Fox Valley in Kimberly, Wisconsin during Sunday morning service. David Fiorazo was special guest speaker. (www.blottingoutgod.com) David tackles corruption, culture, and the church, answering the question, "With 76% of Americans claiming to be Christians, how and when did it get to the point where Christianity is having less of an influence on our culture than secular culture is having on Christianity?"
We are reminded that God never changes, Jesus is returning, and WE are the light in this dark world.

Eagle Forum's Phyllis Schlafly Interviews David Fiorazo on The Cost of Our Silence
Author David Fiorazo discusses the consequences of Christians taking the path of least resistance in America. When people of faith are silent and lack influence in culture, immorality is inevitable. "Silence never saved anyone." The Left is winning the battle of influence in the United States and Christians have been on defense for too long.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer opposed the Nazi regime in Germany and once said, "Silence is the face of evil is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act. God will not hold us guiltless."
We have lost ground in academia and government education, Hollywood, the media, and of course, big government. Sadly, the Church in America has grown apathetic rather than engaging in the battle, particularly when it comes to so-called "social issues."
All financial, political, and social issues ARE moral issues and the Bible has much to say on how Christians are to respond to today's problems.
Check out this December 2015 interview as Phyllis Schlafly speaks with David Fiorazo and takes listener phone calls on Eagle Forum Live. (For articles, blogs, and book info. including reviews, visit www.DavidFiorazo.com)

Why Christians Must Speak the Truth: Author David Fiorazo
It's not complicated; Christians are called to preach the gospel and obey the Word of God. Author David Fiorazo describes the problems in our culture today resulting from decades of professing believers choosing not to speak about Jesus Christ and the truth regarding the sin that separates us from a holy God. There are consequences when Christians take the path of least resistance!
In the 2015 book, The Cost of Our Silence, be informed with facts and truth as you are encouraged to speak the truth in love. Dietrich Bonhoeffer said, "Silence in the face of evil is itself evil..." He should know; Bonhoeffer spoke up & stood against Hitler and the Nazis, and was killed for his faith. America is declining as too many Christians remain silent as godlessness spreads across the land. Similar to Hitler's Germany, government has become god in the land of the free. What will it take for us to repent, turn from our wicked ways, and cry out to the only living God who can save us? Revival or judgment; each one of us must decide while there's still time. Liberalism infects Church and Culture, Interview: the Cost of Our Silence
Author, David Fiorazo interviewed on Love for the Truth Radio, June 2016
Cindy Hartline: "Many Christians would agree that America has adopted a life-style "as in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah and Lot". Immorality is on the rise and sin is widely accepted without a blush. Liberalism is being embraced by our culture, societies, educational and political systems, as well as in our churches. Right is now accounted for as wrong and wrong as right. Sadly, professing Christians and Churches are falling for much of the “liberal" deception. How did we get here? DAVID FIORAZO, author of THE COST OF OUR SILENCE, Consequences of Christians taking the Path of Least Resistance; discusses the forces, leaders, voices, and influences behind the quest to transform America into a Liberal/Socialist country through the infiltration of Liberal thought. This program is a Clarion Call for every American believer to take a stand for Biblical Truth in the midst of our fallen Nation!"

Checking for Bias, Seeking Truth - David Fiorazo
It's been proven media bias is a huge problem in national news, but it's also an issue locally, and this is where we plan on having an impact. We simply want to level the playing field and receive fair coverage... that's not too much to ask from the media, is it? We simply want the truth!
God bless you, and thank you for helping raise awareness about local and national media bias.

ERADICATE: Blotting out God in America; Author Overview (David Fiorazo)
A thought-provoking introduction to the book, 'ERADICATE: BLOTTING OUT GOD IN AMERICA' by Author David Fiorazo. A must-read for Christians today!
"Eradicate" identifies two major problems causing the spiritual and moral decline in our country: the secular agenda to blot out God, and the apathy of Christians. This book will expose the anti-Christian movements in America and give you a thorough understanding of the foundational battle for truth. With 78% of Americans claiming to be Christians, how did it get to the point where Christianity is having less of an influence on our culture than culture is having on Christianity? Too many believers have conformed to our culture and we're now suffering the consequences as a nation.
The Bible contains much prophecy concerning end times, warning us to not be ignorant so we can may be bold and fight the good fight of faith. As Christians, we'll predictably face more hostility and possibly increased persecution in America as we draw closer to Jesus Christ's return, It is now more pivotal than ever that we prepare ourselves, know the truth of Scripture, and understand the direction our country has taken as we seek to obey the Bible and transform the church and America for Christ.

ERADICATE: Blotting out God in America, (Official Trailer) book by David Fiorazo
God is being blotted out of America. ERADICATE, the information-packed book by David Fiorazo, identifies two major problems causing the spiritual and moral decline in our country: the secular agenda to blot out God, and the apathy of Christians.
The Bible contains much prophecy concerning end times, warning us to not be ignorant so we can be bold and fight the good fight of faith. As Christians, we'll predictably face more hostility and possibly increased persecution in America as we draw closer to Jesus Christ's return, It is now more pivotal than ever that we prepare ourselves, know the truth of Scripture, and understand the direction our country has taken.
This book will investigate government, media, Hollywood, public schools, our culture of death, and the push toward socialism and Marxism. You'll see how some churches and leaders are diluting the Word of God weakening the witness of believers. You may be outraged as this book exposes how sin is being openly promoted, yet encouraged because God is still in control. There's a remnant of committed Christians resisting evil and standing in the way of the enemy's plans. We have to decide today who or what will we give our allegiance to, God or man; To Jesus Christ or to culture and politics? God's judgment is inevitable! As Christians, our loyalties must not be divided any longer or America may be eternally lost.
