New farm coyote double

Set up a new farm with 10 traps and caught 5 first night. This video shows a 4 trap set that connected with my first triple. I put the first two down thinking I had a double then looked over to see the third 40 yards away

I recently heard a podcast from LWCG folks and they were talking about how important eyesight is to mature bucks. And I 100% agree. Most of the well-defined buck beds that I find are situated where they can take advantage of their visual even sometimes over their nose. I know everyone talks about how bucks always use their nose and I'm sorry that just simply is not the case. Ideally, as in this case, the bucks will use both their nose and their eyes. I'm just finding it more and more that big mature bucks don't like to get in the thick nasty crap where they can't see danger coming. Your mileage may vary.

Both these bucks made it through the season, God willing, I'll be spending some time in this area come Nov 2022.

A couple finished ghillie capes for my daughter and I... we have been hunting out of natural ground blinds build as we scout and hunt - extremely effective at hiding silhouette without all the bulk of a traditional ghillie suit.
