a decent little loadout of weight to do some good hard muscle workout. these exercises also make you become better at general, in dealing with heavy weight on your back, practicing movement and agility this way gives you a lot of experience and makes rucking become more second nature. also it builds those core and secondary muscle groups, strengthening them and creating muscle memory, making any hike become that much more casual, comfortable, and relaxed, no matter what your load is. i don't typically use trekking or hiking poles or a walking stick or staff. i do like using them from time to time, and in some situations of course it is a must have, such as a snowy mountain or slick watery trails with crossings. but undsr normal hiking conditions and even times when poles or stick seems mandatory, i have always been used to rucking and hiking without them. you learn to navigate in that way and you move differently. poles usually get in my way and slow me down, plus forces me to always keep track of and carry that extra gear. #rucking #bushcraft #outdoors

i didn't plan on working, but the first person i knew needed my help unloading a truck for literally 10 mins, gave me 10 bucks, and my friend at work needed help for about 20 mins cleaning so he could leave, and threw me $15. so that was cool. everything else was just, things that catch your eye, that you just can't pass up. i wasn't even in a scrapping or scavenging / resource collecting mood, sometimes it just happens that way lol the whole bike trip was: 12 miles then 2 miles then relaxed a while worked a little relaxed a bunch more rode back 2 miles, then 12 home. plus a bunch of miscellaneous riding probably a few miles so about 30 miles riding. left at 9am got bacl at 4pm. also took 2 buses between zones. yes you can take your bike on some of the buses here.
