On the last round I don't think I got the dent out of the primer good enough and that's why it took two attempts. The H-48 primer mix works most of the time but its no as good as commercial lead styphnate primers. I used the H-48 mix because I already had everything I needed to make it in the lab. A good cleaning solved the shell sticking problem even with more gun cotton loads

3 dollars for 53.1 grams of ammonium nitrate is very expensive, so this really isn't worth it unless you live in a place you can't buy nitrates. At the end when I talk about the 3 day run I meant to say 1 gram per day 3 grams total. One more reason for this reaction taking so long as it should have been kept warm.

This was made the same way as the ammonium hydroxide solution used in my other videos. I didn't clarify that the copper wire used was to show we have ammonia in solution. PH tests indicated the same.
