After getting heaps of great ideas from you guys. I have come to the conclusion how to proceed. The digging continues and the first tunnel section is almost all dug out.

I'm trying to figure out a new plan for the bunker. I have come across a pipe that was not supposed to be in the way. So now we have to make a decision on where to go and what to do. This project is non stop complication, I'm loving it. I won't stop progressing so we just need to work out what that progress will be.

Decided it is time to put all this water to use. I have been pumping a constant though varying supply of water for nine months. Thousands of liters down the drain. I have picked up a 3000 L tank and now its time to plumb it in. Sticking with the secret bunker approach I need to make this look like it is fed by the house not a big hole in the back yard. It has been some of the wettest times on record lately and it will soon start drying up again for a few years, so this might be a blessing in disguise.

From starting the job of digging the stair part, to shoring up a 3m long tunnel section under my shed. 2023 should be a crazy year with an endless amount of work to get done.

Time has come to shore up the walls on the Tunnel. The danger of cave in is always there no matter how solid the ground is that you dig through. Shoring is a way of holding back the soil to increase safety. My shoring is enough for what I'm doing, though this is not a guide to be used for your own build this is for entertainment. I have now got some airflow in the tunnel. With an exhaust fan installed I can work at night with the lid on and breath easy. I now have a new family member, my hammer drill decides it wants some attention. The bees try to kill one of my ducks, and the submersible pump dies. The bunker floods, again. I'm now 2 meters in on the secret bunker. The tunnel is looking amazing now and a real mind blower to climb into. My Colinfurze poster arrived all bent out out of shape. Still happy to have it though. Need to get a photocopy to take down the hole and a nice frame for the original to go down there when its finished. Back in the hole and tunneling. The first section of the tunnel is dug, full steam ahead on the bunker build now.

I have now finished the prep work for the concrete path. Time to pour the exposed concrete mix, seed in the glow stones and make this thing shine. It has been a mission to get this one sorted. It has rained every time i have had the time to work on it, and it even rained a couple of hour after i got it in. I decided to use decorative concrete for the pathway rather than plan as we will be doing plenty of plain stuff in the future. By the time you watch these how to lay concrete videos you should have a good idea on how to DIY. You wont see colinfurze pulling this off. I hope you enjoy this video.

The concrete pathway area is now prepared for the glow in the dark exposed slab. Dowel pins are in, boxing is now in place. Thought it was time to get the electrical work sorted out for the remote so i don't have cables dangling down into the bunker anymore. not long now and i can start tunneling.

It is taking so long between videos everyone. I haven't had time to work on the pathway and when I have it seems to rain. Hoping to get the concrete this weekend to lay the exposed glow in the dark slab. I think you will enjoy finding out how I lay this concrete. Once it is in, I can start the tunneling for the Bunker.

While I am still working on the concrete pathway, I have finished of the hoist installation. I am still waiting on the concrete to be available when I am available to pour it. Things have been super busy for me lately and I am struggling for time. If only i could be a full time you tuber like Colinfurze then I could pump out vids a bit more consistently, good things come to those who wait they say. Though I better get a vid out before too long though as you all might forget about me or think I am buried in the back yard. After finding white clay at the bottom of the bunker. I decided to try and make some pottery out of it. The clay from the bunker might be usable for making mugs bowls spoons plates vases and who knows what else. I will try and throw a bowl. Fire it in a kiln and glaze the pottery I make. Secret tunnel clay. Has to be better than colinfurze secret tunnel rock. Hope it actually works and is usable. This could be a way to support the build financially by making some stuff to sell from the hole.

Its about time I put a DIY Roof over the Secret Bunker. This should make the Wood Shoring and the Winch/Hoist should last a lot longer with some Waterproofing. ColinFurze loves Welding things together. I'm more into screwing. Simple Roof held up by French Cleats and hopes and dreams. Cutting Timber and Concreting a Pathway things that need doing before the Secret Tunnel can be dug out.

There is lots of woodwork to sort out so we can start Tunneling under the shed. It is a dusty job that is uncomfortable and has to be done. I can't wait to get digging again.

Pouring the first concrete into the floor of the Bunker. This is a step that I have been looking forward too for quite a while. With the floor in it means no more standing in mud constantly and now I will have something to secure the Shoring to, making it safer to work down here.

The bottom is finally in reach, I have been Digging in and have achieved an amazing milestone. I am so happy to be where I am at this stage.

Passing on some of the information I acquired at University at a very expensive price. Geology is the foundation for all of life on earth, it is amazing and complicated. The knowledge I have is important to pass on because if I don't it was wasted in learning.

I have reached 3.5m. This is the deepest i have dug in my life. I can now say i have had a small taste of what it would have been like for the old timers who mined by hand. Not much is changing other than the depth of the hole. I thought I would take some time to answer a few of your questions.

Well the bloke who had to come round is none the wiser about my bunker. So time to expose it again and get back to digging. I finish of hiding the bunker. No one would even know it is there. Now I have to wait and see if my unwanted visitor finds it.

After finding out i am having an unexpected visitor pop round I have to hide my bunker from prying eyes. I have three days to hide it not a lot of time.

My hole flooded. I got really sick with the Rona. I'm still learning how to edit and make videos so please bear with me it does get better.
