The latest census figure show that for the very first time, the number of people defining themselves as Catholics exceeds the number of people defining themselves as Protestants in Northern Ireland. The UK faces an emerging crisis over the availability of C02 for industry as CF Fertilisers, the US-owned company which produces 40% of UK requirement, says it is closing one of its' two plants.
